-Izanagi is struck by the Confuse Ray, and starts to sway side to side. Ren feeling Izanagi's dizziness, starts to stagger as well.-

Ren: Crud... This... isn't... good...

-Izanagi tries to use Rock Slide but stumbles and falls face first into the ground hurting himself a bit.-

Various Places, Present

-All contractors receive a message from a most unexpected being declaring grave news...-

The Velvet Room

-The first thing the contractors will notice as they enter is that the Velvet Room is now a simple platform floating in a vast abyss. The platform is covered by an aquamarine carpet that drapes over the edges of the platform and has a circular gold pattern at its center. Three sets of stairs lead off the platform, one down going down, the other two upwards. The stairs have all started to break apart after different amounts of step. Gears of a variety of shapes and styles turn slowly in the air abyss around the platform. Some of these gears are slowly coming to a stop, others are having trouble even turning, some have stopped all together, and a few gears with broken axles and teeth float around in the abyss. The only furniture in the Velvet Room is a large circular table with a large sofa made of carved, deep-blue wood and upholstered with blue velvet in the northwest part of the room. Two tall doors stand in the middle of the northeast part of the room, one of which the contractors enter the Velvet Room from. Even to the most unperceptive to supernatural phenomenon, this whole space feels unstable, like it could fall apart at any moment.-

-Igor sits in the center of the sofa with Margaret and Elizabeth sitting at his sides. Theo is standing at attention behind the sofa positioned between Elizabeth and Igor. The Twins float at attention to either side of the sofa. Belladonna hums softly as she stands in the northwest corner behind Igor, the Siblings, and the Twins. Nameless is likewise humming in the northeast corner behind the two doors. The Demon painter is silently standing in the southwest corner with an expression full of concentration. Marie has been positioned in the southwest corner.-

-Standing in the center of the room is Philemon himself, who personally greets the contractors as they enter.-

Philemon: Welcome to the Velvet Room.

Old Chateau- 19 minutes before sunset

-Phaz and anyone else checking around finds naught more then a dust buneary or two, but Volta can see that there is most defiantly a key in the TV with him. The key is labeled R4 At that moment, the house shakes violently as a blast rocks the Chateau. It sounds like it came from the fifth room. Reset squeaks and darts into the TV to hide. Ark's Pokemon take on various defensive positions around the group.-

Kiaran: <What the otherworld was that!?>

Ekundayo: <I-i don't know, b-but i'll do my part to protect you guys this time!>

Barclay: <Well good on ye then!>

Verigan: <Hah-ha! Well said Fair Maiden of the Woods!>

Ekundayo: <O-oh, u-um.... thank you.>

Ralli: <..... feh....>

Audra: <Hm.>

Huet: Oh wow, Verigan is just so cooool~!

Jacob: -He nods and turns around with Regina and Argentum following, heading towards the end of the hallway and stepping into a freight elevator- "This one should take us to the bottom floor."

Velvet Room - Today

-Jacob and Verax stumble- "..."

Jacob: "... Well then."

Verax: "So the whole world is screaming "everything has gone to shit"?"

Margaret: -Calmly walking into the room, and looking around- <Mm. I would suggest opening a door as soon as possible to address the source of this anomaly.>

-She pauses at the words- <Anomaly. Hm.>

The Velvet Room, Today

-Ren and Mendel enter the Velvet Room and are shocked by the drastic change.-

-After all who are going to arrive do so, Philemon looks somberly at the group.-

Philemon: As I mentioned in the message I sent you, the fates of the contractors are strongly tied to this space. Instability of either's fate will affect the other's. One of your number's fate has grown so unstable that it has affected the Velvet Room to this extent. We are currently using all our power to prevent it from collapsing.

-Philemon looks at the door next to the one the contractors are enter the Velvet Room from, causing it to open to the CU.-

Philemon: The fates of all here have become so unstable that even I can not tell you whose fate has become so unstable, what awaits you on the other side of the door, or even tell you more than I am now. All I can definitively say that if there is to be any hope of any of us surviving this ordeal, you all must enter the Collective Unconsciousness and overcome the challenge that awaits you there.

-Philemon looks back to the group.-

Philemon: I pray for your success. We shall monitor you from here and do all we can to ensure the stability of the Velvet Room while you are in the Collective Unconsciousness.

Chapter 1: Unending

-Everyone staggers to their feet; notably, Lina's suddenly back in her normal outfit and Ammy, Umbra, and Robin are all fully human-

Arika: Oog... What the hell just happened?

Umbra: You tell me. Aside from the fact we're apparently in space.

-Robin is silent, staring at the orb with a confused expression-

Human!Ammy: What's wrong, Robin?

Robin: This is your planet... our planet... I saw it myself like this personally before, yet part of me right now insists I haven't... There's definitely something bizarre going on...

Nico: -turns around, notices something, gulps- ...Like that?

-Everyone turns to see a strange, house-like symbol standing before them with six panels; a purple one with a symbol resembling Giratina's headplates, a red one with a raised gauntlet symbol, an orange one with a symbol of a flaming shield, a teal one with a leaf and water droplet forming a circle, a pink one with an X formed by two scythe blades, and a gray one with symbols resembling the ones on Mega Rayquaza's head. There is a door situated between the last two-

Lina: That definitely doesn't look like a trap, nope.

Human!Ammy: Yep... But to be fair I don't see any other way out of here.

-Robin notices the gray panel flicker out and back in for a split second-

Robin: ...Are you sure we can't find another way out of here?

Arika: I... Don't see any, do you guys?

Umbra: -stares into the black space- We definitely can't jump down there. ._.

-Everyone files up to the door, and Lina opens it to reveal a brilliant golden light...-

-Only for Robin to notice the gray symbol on the door blank out completely-

-She turns to a mist and discards the armor, instead enveloping the young man-

-Grunts of pain mix with a high laughter as the misty orb begins to descend-

The Velvet Room

-Ren and Mendel follow the others into the CU.-

CU, Foggy Walk, Today

-As the group walks through the Fog, they will come a tall, iron fence suttounding a dilapidated theater. The fence is stablized by statues made to look like a featureless - judging by the propotions - human male figure - except for the statues' left legs, which have grotesque scars carved in vivid and disturbing detail covering most of the legs - which will imediately look familar to Dune and Galvani. Further, the fence actually enters the statues through the side of their left legs, but then exit through the back of the left legs and the wrap safely arounf the right legs before cointining to the next statue. The ornate iron gates have are fall off their hinges, allow free entry into the theater's grounds.-

-Some might notice Ren absently griping his left leg as he speaks

Ren: Ugh... I guess it's my turn.

Blitz: "Wait, a negative?"

-Beat-

-Blitz pursues!-

-And skids to a stop as the aforementioned mistyness happens-
