-Theo scrambles at his sister's command to repair the door, which admittedly, doesn't take too long.-

Sarah: WHAT?!

-She reaches to see Blitz's phone, but loses her balance and topples over.-

Sarah: ...Ow.

Eterna Pokemon Center

Jacob: "Ah. Well, I mean, it feels more like I'm related to in some form the person involved in this bad thing but you know what, I'll chalk it up to nerves."

Argentum: <More like meta-gaming.>

Jacob: "Why are you even here???"

-He clears his throat-

"... I just realized. I haven't eaten today. Ever have you been to Sinnoh before?"

The Velvet Room

Margaret: <... Perhaps it would be best if you rested here, for a while. You appear to be on edge, the Shadows will be swarming to get to you in your current state. And attempting to go alone does not sound intelligent for one of your... abilities.>

-Theo returns from fixing the door.-

Theo: -composing himself- <My sister is correct, Mister Lane. Entering the Collective Unconsciousness alone without proper preparation and strength is suicide.>

Ever: Actually, yes! I started my Pokemon journey here, even. Then I came back because of something with Spiritomb. It was weird.

Eterna Hospital

Blitz: "Yeah-"

-He blinks at the toppling, it might be funny if it weren't related to the second near death experience that someone Blitz knows has gone through in the past week. That and stress-

Blitz: "Uh"

-He approaches and tries to help Sarah up, though he still holds the phone awaiting a response from Lane-

Eterna Hospital

-Sarah struggles back up-

Sarah: I've already decided I don't like this situation. Luckily, I'm free to check out whenever I feel ready, and I'm just about as ready as I'm ever gonna be.

Jacob: "Excellent. Any good places to eat around here? I have had nothing all of today."

-He ends up just watching instead of interfering and making it worse-

Blitz: "The one where you're still on crutches because of an escaped mental aspect that I was too busy looking for the Avenger to think would target you? Or the fact that May is apparently the month dedicated to exercising the local medical community?"

-Beat-

"You sure about that? I mean, I don't think anyone likes being in the hospital... But still"

Ever: Well, if you like ghosts and ambiguously-poisoned food, there's the Old Chateau.

If you like regular food like a regular person, there are probably some restaurants around.

Sarah: If I'm not, then oh well, it's not gonna be the worst decision I've made recently. And besides, I'm hungry and hospital food is awful.

-Somewhere near Shingeko, there is the sound of a projectile shoe hitting the wall.-

-The phone is dead, it's gone now, never again shall it ring out it's tones-

-Lane's eye twitches-

Lane:I don't care.

-Grit his teeth-

I'm plenty ready.

Elizabeth: <Well, if you're quite certain.>

-She makes a game show-esque gesture and the door appears-

Elizabeth: <Then enter. Though, don't say we didn't warn you.>

Lane:Hmph.

-He storms through the door, out into the mists...-

Velvet Room

-While the ruckus is going on, Igor is flipping through a card book.-

Igor: Hmmm... I know it's here somewhere...

-He eventually finds the page he was looking for - a page that's mostly filled. At the first slot is a bronze Temperance card, the sad little Yurlungur that Deziree had acquired, yet could not carry through the Collective Unconscious. Next to it was a completely blank space - whomever belonged in that space had not gained even the most basic form of their persona yet.-

Igor: ... Ah. Here we are.

-Below them are a list of three cards. Two of them shine like silver, Castor and Pollux. They had been used, but not mastered. There was room for growth. But next to them... That is what Igor was looking for.-

Igor: Magnificent.

-Shining with the brilliance of a dawning star laid a platinum Sun card, emblazoned with one of the first Gods of Men - Sol Invictus, the Unconquerable Sun. He removes the card from it's space with delicate reverence, as he slots it into his deck.-

Igor: Now... let us see what the deck has in store.

-He then plays a game.-

Marie: -Watching Lane leave- <...Idiot.>

Margaret: -Removing her glasses, and looking over at Igor- <Master, I have to agree with Theo, but perhaps even sooner. I do not believe he has the power necessary to complete this on his own. None of them do, not even those who have unlocked their true potential. As well, Elizabeth and I just finished the long-range communication devices they we had been working on. Now is an optimal time to summon them, if your tarot reading is not too distracting.>

Eterna Center

Jacob: "NO."

"Er. Sorry. No to the Old Chateau. I'm no fan of ghosts or poisons."

"But duly noted."

"..."

"... Huh. I just had the weirdest flashback. Didn't we first meet back in Castellia? With you searching for Mezzo and me distracting Lily so she could get away?"

Eterna Hospital

Blitz: "Fair enough, guess the least I can do is make sure you get to your room at the center or hotel or something. Since I was supposed to be coming to check on you in the first place..."

Eterna City

Ever: Um...I mean, that's pretty consistent with all our respective lives.

Velvet Room

-Igor flips his last card. He closes his eyes and leans back.-

Igor: I have seen all that I need to. Send out the summons.

-On the table is a Fool card, reversed...-

-A Tower, reversed...-

-And the platinum Sun card, upright.-

Eterna Hospital

Sarah: Well, my apartment is all the way back at the Battle Frontier, but I called Spenser and he said I should stay here with you guys until I'm fully healed, both physically and mentally. So... I don't have a place to stay yet.

Eterna Hospital

Blitz: "You have an apartment?"

-Beat-

"Like, the kind you pay rent on and has an official address for people to mail your stuff to instead of hoping couriers can get to where you are or that the mail gets to the pokemon center before you've moved on?"

-He shakes his head in surprise at how weird that sounds right now-

"Well, if you don't have a place to stay for the night, worst case you could use my room, it's big enough"

Sarah: Yeah, it's one of the perks of working at the Battle Frontier, they provide housing as long as I can pay for it. And your place sounds fine for the time being, but I'm gonna deal with getting my own room as soon as I can tomorrow.

-She frowns-

Sarah: But food first. Know any restaurants around here?

Eterna Center

Jacob: "Ah, right. And I was still sick at the time..."

-He shakes his head- "That seems like so long ago... Remind me, how long have you and Mezzo been a thing? Sorry I just have a lot on my mind and it is relevant to things."

Margaret: <Of course. Elizabeth, Theo, bring them here. I shall collect the devices. As well... the Shadows are getting more powerful. With your permission, master, I'd like to be able to visit the Waking World to do more research on current events and see if there is a connection.>
