-she hears Roc- <...Wait, something's happened to Gardenia?>

Zeppelin: <Hm, that certainly doesn't sound good. We'll need to be sure to deal with those and rescue her if that is the case!>

<Tomorrow or otherwise!>

Flori - Past

Mistral looked back to Mireille who shrugged her shoulders.

Mireille: <Hajime, did you understand what the little one said before?>

Flori, past

Hajime: "...Honestly, it just sounded like baby babbling to me."

Flori - Past

Mireille. <Yeah, thought so, though it was worth a try.>

Mistral: <... Laura maybe?>

She looked at the Deerling.

Flori, past

-The Deerling thinks a bit, but shakes her head

Yamato: "How about Mitsuko?"

Hajime: "Um... Rosalinde?"

-The Deerling nods her head at Hajime-

Hajime: "Okay, Rosalinde it is, then."

Flori - Past

Sergey: "Well, in that case, nice to meet you Rosalinde."

Loran hopped to her again.

Loran: <Rosalinde~ Rosalinde fwend~>

Even Aicha got down from the tree she was hanging from

Aicha: <Tehee, hiya then~>

Mistral: <Hello Rosalinde.>

Sergey: "Okay, now I could watch two eggs hatch in the span of a couple of days, I really am lucky currently."

He gave a little smile. As that happend Aicha also gave a little chuckle

Magnus: <If you dare to think what I think you're thinking then you are in sooo much trouble.>

Aicha made cute puppy eyes (read: uses Feint Attack) and as Magnus was about to shake his head she suddenly was behind him

Aicha: <And what would that be~>

Cue a Face Fault from Magnus

-Rosalinde observes the scene and shakes her head-

Loran tried to imitate Rosalinde but due to his distinct lack of a head his efforts were... not met with success. Still he seemed happy with the results.

Aicha: <See~>

Mireille: <She's harmless. Just don't try to imitate her, okay Rosalinde?>

After giving Magnus a last glance Aicha quickly climbed up onto Sergey's soulders again.

Sergey: "Haha, I hope she didn't scare you."

He turned to Hajime

Sergey: "Say, could I maybe pat her?"

Somewhere in Hoenn, last night

-Gereon is wearing a red coat leaning against the side of a building, his brown hair as messy as ever. He lights a cigarette and closes his eyes. Someone dressed like a power plant worker steps outside and addresses him.-

Worker: Sir?

-Gereon sighs.-

Gereon: Wha'? Can' y' jus' wai'?

Worker: With all due respect, we've been waiting a long time.

Gereon: We're wai'in' on tha' call. No'in' 'appens till then.

Worker: But when will—

Gereon: Shu' up 'n' wai'.

Worker: ...Yes, sir.

-The worker walks back inside. Gereon inhales and blows out another puff of smoke. After a few more minutes of waiting, his phone rings.-

Gereon: 'ello.

Anima: Everything should be in place.

Gereon: Go' i'. I trus' y' 're also callin' Miss Chesneau 'n' Mis'er 'ague now?

Anima: That's right.

-Without another word, he hangs up. He stomps out his cigarette and saunters over to the workers.-

Gereon: Cu' th' power. Now.

-Everyone scrambles to carry out the order. Gereon takes a seat at the bottom of a staircase. He lights a match and stares at his watch as the power shuts off around him.-

-Fifteen minutes pass. He blows the fire out and stands up again.-

Gereon: Tha' shou' do i'.

-The lights slowly begin to flicker back on.-

Gereon: Thank y' all for your assis'nce.

Elsewhere in Hoenn, last night

-For those fifteen minutes, there was a power outage across the entirety of the Hoenn mainland. In several scattered places backup generators and even Pokéballs failed.-

-During that time, 28 people from Anima's list were murdered. Their bodies were found throughout the night. An investigation is ongoing.-

Shoal Cave Lab, last night

-Anima and Choice are packing their equipment up. Cripsin points at Anima.-

Crispin: Leave that one behind.

Anima: Why?

Crispin: Do you need it?

-Anima shakes her head.-

Anima: What use would it be to leave it here?

Crispin: Leave everything you don't need here. Trust me. I'm handling the fallout.

Route 217, this morning

-A pair of Sneasel are standing outside a cabin. One of them is holding an unconscious Weavile.-

Ansien: <You've been a huge help, Cara. Now, take your father away from here and never return. Can't have you ruining things any more...>

-He throws the Weavile to the ground. Cara scrambles to pick him up and glares wordlessly at Ansien. Ansien only offers a malicious smirk in return.-

Route 217 cabin, this morning

-Anima and Choice are unpacking their equipment. Glavo is unconscious in her cage in the corner of the room.-

Anima: A lot more space here, but it's a bit...

Choice: It is certainly more visible.

-Anima nods.-

Anima: With luck that shouldn't be a problem. We haven't needed to hide our faces so far.

Pris: Oi, what about us?

-She and Gereon walk into the room where Anima and Choice are setting up their laboratory.-

Anima: Stay out of sight until Crispin clears things up.

Gereon: Un'erstood.

-Pris sighs.-

Pris: I hate this already.

-Crispin appears behind her.-

Crispin: You volunteered.

Pris: Yeah, I did. But how's this supposed to work, anyway?

Crispin: I have a contact in the International Police. Painting you as the initial suspects will ultimately turn their investigation away from you and Dane. Please be patient and trust that I'm handling things.

-He steps toward Glavo's cage.-

...I finished setting up the rooms for all the Sneasel downstairs. Should I take this down there?

Choice: Please do.

-Crispin nods, picks it up and leaves the room again.-

Solaceon Ruins — Sunchamber

-Once again, something beneath Flaahgra explodes, igniting it and ejecting Wirrbelle. After taking severe damage, its body pulses with glitch particles before it rights itself again, clinging to all three mirrors surrounding it.-

Samus: <One more should finish it!>

-Flaahgra glares down at the group, and then attempts to trap Wirrbelle in more of its vines, only slightly flinching as Samus shoots at its head.-

Sunchamber

Mezzo: <Good! The sooner this thing dies the better!>

-Mezzo attempts to leap toward a mirror, then pauses, and tries shooting a Dark Pulse at it instead-

Gallade!Dunyazade: Well, can't fault him for enthusiasm...

Roc: <We may have to fight her, that's the thing.>

-Affixing the party with an intimidating glare-

<Are you prepared to do that?>

Solaceon Ruins, Sunchamber

-Wirrbelle avoids getting trapped-

Wirrbelle: <...That was certainly close.>

Venomous: <Yeah...>

<We should... finish this.>

-The two of them then shoot Ancient Powers at Flaahgra-

Zeppelin: <If it is to save her, certainly!>

Teddiursa!Maggie: <Yeah, if need be.>

Spearow!Sack: <Whatever I need to do to get myself in a more comfortable position...>

- DS and Linnéa might be somewhere near the others in Eterna, I guess? -

Solaceon Ruins — Sunchamber

-Flaahgra hisses, flinching and recoiling at the attacks it receives, giving the mirrors enough slack for Mezzo's Dark Pulse to knock one of them away. In addition, the mirror is coated with Obscura. Samus wastes no time in running over to one of the other two mirrors to start shooting the vines away.-

-Maggie notices the pair and waves-

Teddiursa!Maggie: <Hey, DS.>

Sunchamber

-Venomous and Wirrbelle shoot at the other two mirrors-

Scheherezade: -looks at Maggie- More to join our merry little band of adventurers?

Gallade!Dunyazade: I hope so.

Bronzor!Shahryar: -is still pouting, not that he'd deign to stoop so low as to pout. As if.-

-Etran notices the newcomers-

Etran: W-who are they?

- Waves back at Maggie -

Oh, hey... Maggie, is that you?

Linnéa: (tilts head) ...?

Teddiursa!Maggie: -to Scheherazade- <Yeah. Plus, like Roc, she's got experience with this stuff.>

-to DS- <Yeah, Sack and I got glitched.>

Spearow!Sack: <And would prefer to be returned to normal...>

Teddiursa!Maggie: -to Etran- <DS and Linnéa. Former's a really good friend, but I don't actually know the latter personally.>
