-He looks at Tagg- "... Do you think Zrone is gonna try and contain one or harness one's power?"

Valentine grimaces. "Fine. Let's do this proper. BACKUP DANCERS ASSEMBLE!"

Three zombies show up around her. They look like Free EXP.

She starts strumming a melody that continues playing through the rest of the fight.

"COME AND TAKE ME, YOU BASTARDS!"

She aims a rather downbeat chord at Tori, stunning her.

Ren: -yelling at Jacob- Jacob you idiot! Stop spamming those spells of yours! Don't you realize that our Sanity stat is basically our HP AND MP?! Using ability after ability is just going to get you hurt - or worse!

-Ren swings his arm at Jacob, his palm out.-

-A fair bit of Ren's Dark aura braks off and Heals Jacob for 50 Sanity at the cost of Ren's Sanity.-

Ren: I don't have the sanity to do that more than once more...

-Ren sees Red near her boiling point.-

-yelling at Red- SO THE BERSERKER NEEDS TO GET HER TEMPER UNDER CONTROL AND GET BEHIND THE TANK UNTIL THE TANK SAYS IT'S OKAY TO MOVE! OTHERWISE SHE'S GOING TO GET HER FOOLSELF KILLED! (✖◣д◢)

-Ren leaps at the back up dancers hoping to grab their attention.-

Valentine grimaces as all of her zombies fall down re-dead at the grenade blast.

"Take this." She rushes over to Tori and bites her, dealing more damage since she can't respond.

She then gets hit by a sissy vampire slap. Unsurprisingly, it only deals one damage.

Blue: Oh dear.

Red snorts steam out of her nose.

One recommends stepping away.

Blue, meanwhile, fires off a rather cursory volley of arrows at the Vamp, being more concerned with Red.

"Okay okay, best thing to do is relay this...."

She starts talking into her Dreamcaster.

"Red has an attack that can stun, an aoe move that stuns, a damage draining move, and an attack that hits all those in range.Though you guys probably knew all that. Uh and she has a resistance to sound and stun attacks. And 300 Sanity."

Okay so, I'm gonna be hanging out someplace with actual Internet tomorrow, so I'll be available then. In the meantime, here's a taste of what I've been doing to pass the time.

Alternate Universe - U.S.S. McKinley

-Dune and Deziree laugh.-

Dune: And did you see the look on its face when it stepped on that mine?

Deziree: Pffft*snort*hehehe, yeah, he looked like he shorted a wire!

Dune: You should bring those mine emplacements along more often, those things make my life so much easier.

Deziree: Just so long as you bring more explosive guns to blast the armor off of those tanks AND keep those Burst Transmitters away from my mortars.

Dune: Yeah, yeah, don't worry. We'll do just fine.

-Dune takes out a flask and takes a drink. Not of anything alcoholic, mind you, just clean water that hasn't had the smell of diesel smoke permeate every drop.-

Deziree: I just hope I can figure out what this "Broadcast" actually is. I mean, it fries the brains of everyone who listens to it except two soldiers who both turn into engineering geniuses who can churn out stuff like I can! What the heck could possibly do that?!

-Dune snaps the flask shut before pocketing it.-

Dune: I dunno, but at least this is a good universe we've found ourselves in that we might be able to get some answers from. Farnsworth's inventions are just a little too...

Deziree: Familiar?

Dune: Kinda, yeah. They almost look like what would happen if you mashed a Glitch into an old vacuum tube-using television.

Deziree: ... You think this might be related to me somehow?

-Dune gives Deziree a surprised look.-

Deziree: Dune, Woodruff made what can best be described as prototype armored troopers in an era before the invention of the jet engine. He made a battleship with legs and giant weapon emplacement-shooting cannons. And before that he was a dirt chewing grunt who got his legs ran over by a landship. This Broadcast gave him a Spark. It gave him my Spark. There HAS to be a connection!

-Dune wraps an arm around Dezi's shoulders and pulls her close as one of their mobile trenches - Dune's, from the desert camo on the chassis - is having its weapons test fired into the ocean nearby.-

Dune: Tell you what - we find the source of Farnsworth's signal, then we'll work from there, okay?

Deziree: Hehe, okay, Mr. Reasonable. Let's go check to see if Woodruff's got us a mission.

Nightmarescape

-Tori has little chance to do anything besides notice the risen zombies before she's forced to attempts to push the vampire off her, but the stunning renders those efforts quite feeble as she's bitten-

Tori: "Aaagh!"

Valentine gets a more respectable punch from the vampire this time around.

She grimaces and uses Pitchshift again.
