-George is hit and has his energy sapped, he's now slightly under 2/3rds health-

Fletcha: <Lava Plume one more time...c'moooooon burn chance!>

George: <Hah, if dodging's so easy why do you keep gettin' hit?>

-Rinse and repeat, only with fire...I guess just burn and repeat...huh-

Battle Frontier - Yesterday

Magnus was able to get bac health but was hit with the next attack directly after that without time to react so he falls on somehwhat above 1/3 of his HP, additionally he starts to burn.

Sergey: "Magnus! Are you alright?"

Magnus: *nods* <To give you - ugh - a chance of course>

Sergey: "Okay, lets pack everything on this one, Psycho Cut!"

Magnus: <I - ugh - like the sound of that.>

He extended his blades and made another charge.

Battle Frontier - yesterday

-George is critically sliced by the Psycho Cut, but the burn lowering Magnus's attack helped mitigate some of the damage; he now has a little over 1/3 health remaining-

George: <Urk, good one...but I'm not finished yet!>

Fletcha: <Ok, try to finish this off with a Fire Blast.>

-George sends an intense blast of all consuming fire towards Magnus-

Battle Frontier - Yesterday

Gallade is hit hard by the flames and sinks on just that tiny amount HP away from zero.

Magnus: <And... you call... this an attack?>

Sergey: "MAGNUS NO! That's more than enough, come back."

He recalled Magnus

Sergey: "I'm counting this as out, I won't let him endure more. Go Mireille!"

As his next Pokémon his Gardevoir came out of her ball

Sergey: "Don't worry, its only a sparring fight."

Mireille: <Right, I'll remember it>

Sergey: "Disarming Voice!"

Mireille: <As you wish.>

Mireille took the hit and due to the large difference in speed it knocked her down to just over 1/3 HP.

Sergey: There's no time for Wish, and Draining Kiss won't give enough HP back, Rest would be too risky now and Heal Pulse doesn't work on the user... what should I do, I need to buy time.

Sergey: "O-Okay, u-use Psychic"

Sergey: "Wah, j-jump, try to evade as much as possible"

Sergey tried to stay on his legs as the earth began to shake.

Meanwhile Mireille jumped into the air trying to evade as much shockwaves as possible, some hit but not many causing her to drop to around 1/4 HP

Sergey: "Are you alright? Can you continue?"

Mireille: *nods* <Don't worry.>

Sergey: "Then use Draining Kiss."

Mireille: <As you wish.>

-Brandon is hit with a kiss and has his energy drained-

Brandon: <Urk, well that was unpleasant...>

Fletcha: <Follow up with Sludge Bomb.>

-Brandon tries to hurl unsanitary sludge at Mireille-

As Mireile drained the energy from her opponent she was hit by the sludge, while she managed to migitate some of the damage some of it came through, the net result of both attacks was that her HP dropped by a bit.

Sergey: "He's a dragon type soo... Mireille, lets hope for the best, Dazzling Gleam!"

Mireille nodded

But they all added up, and I'll be telling you exactly how; though, I'll be a bit less elaborate about it after this particular bit because you could find the broad strokes elsewhere - though it's important I get to why - and this tale's taking longer to tell than I expected anyway...

-Everyone turns to see smoke rising from a settelment not too far off-

Chrom: Unless he's on fire as well, it can wait!

-...In retrospect, I am suddenly very glad a friend of mine from this world named Ammy wasn't around to hear him say that.-
