ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

I've recognized that my disparate tastes in gaming tends to put me in a weird camp.

I know the feeling. I've never heard of anyone who has ever played a Disgaea game except for me.

Anyone played Zelda? That's really the only video game I've ever played besides Pokemon.. Though usually I get stuck in the first or second dungeon and then leave and waste time fishing.

I've played a bunch of games that only I seem to be fan of. So I know how that feels.

Zelda? That's basically my favorite videogame series of all time. Speaking of obscure games, has anyone here ever played Endless Ocean?

In art today, a bunch of people had this whole conversation about Pokemon, and I'm not sure if they were alking about the anime or the games. Though they did argue about whether there was a game for the gamecube.

So as soon as I get back, the conversation about Pokemon-equivalent cartoons ends. While I study cartoons and the history of traditional animation for Spatial Studies class. Typical.

Isn't that the Island with the Thunderstorm that's always around it? Because if so, I won't be able to go with you without an Eon Dragon of my own.

Raikou: <Nya, actually, if you really wanted to go, I could help you with that.>

Raikou: <Well, assuming Reshiram wanted to go, nya, all you would have to do is let me ride on her back with you. Then, as you fly through the Thunderstorm, I can just draw the lighting bolts towards me so that you don't get struck by lightning, nya! Good idea?>

Lake: <I dunno. Sounds a bit risky to me.>

Suicune: <I admit I don't like the idea much myself, but Raikou does have power over lightning. If you absolutely had to fly through a Lighting storm, Raikou would be the best Pokémon to do it with.>

Hmm. I'm still not sure.

Latias: <Oh, don't worry about that. We can help!> -whistles-

-several Latias and Latios descend upon our location-

Latias: <Just climb on someone and we can go!>

-climbs on the first Latii she sees, which is a Latios-

- I get up and tie my hair in a ponytail -

Latias: <Ooh, do we fly now?>

Well, I'm ready.

Latias: <Yay!>

- I climb onto Latias' back -

But don't begin flying just yet. Wait until the others are ready.

-stares at the Latii nervously, then approaches a Latios and gingerly clmbs on, recalling everyone but Qui-Gon and holding onto him tightly, closing my eyes and pretending I'm flying on Crobat-

What did I miss?

-climb onto Latias- Thanks.

Latias: <It's no problem!>

Oh wait! I just remember, I promised I'd spend today with Reshiram, so I can't go I'm afraid. Speaking of which, I should really see if she's awake yet.

Suicune: <I should check to see if master's awake yet too.>

We'll both be back in a second.

-Me and Suicune head off nearby to check on our respective Pokémon.

Reshiram is lying on her front, asleep, I walk over to her head and bend down next to it.-

Resh?

-I stroke her head to get her attention. The Dragon stirs slightly in her sleep when as I do this.-

Come on Resh, it's morning.

-Reshiram opens her eyes, sleepily.-

Reshiram: <...Huh? Oh...Morning sweetie.>

Morning. Did you sleep okay?

Reshiram: <Yeah...I slept okay.>

-The Dragon lets out a loud yawn, then pulls herself up of the ground, rubbing her eyes.-

Reshiram: <Eurgh...How long have you been up for?>

Ooh, a little while. Don't worry, you haven't kept us from doing something important or anything like that.

Reshiram: <Oh...That's good to know.>

-Jane's thoughts turn to the Paddling Ghost, and then she becomes wary...-

Hey, um, Latios? Promise me you won't have me fall to my doom into the ocean?

Latios: <Why would I do that?>

Nevermind.
