Blitz: I've never done much with double battles, but I can see how having another partner could help a lot... -Blitz trails off a bit-

Sakura giggles "Maybe you'll be able to find a good partner for doubles later. Anyway, I should probably head back to the Pokémon Center now, see you around, Blitz!"

She then waves and starts walking away. The GreNinja Squad soon follows after her, some of them waving goodbye before they go.

Snowbelle City

Mezzo: How about a two-on-two battle then?

Pianis: That would be fine by me.

Snowbelle Gym

Amanita: Sounds good!

-Amanita sends out Drifter, who stares-

Amanita: ...What? You need some practice.

Ever: Well, it's not like I'm much better off.

-he sends out Access-

Access: <Hello, all.>

Snowbelle

Blitz: Well miracles happen I suppose... Anyway, good luck getting ready for your match Sakura!

-Blitz waves as the group heads off to the pokemon center and then continues on his exploratory walk about town-

Blitz: Well, that was an interesting group... Too bad there wasn't someone like that to help back when we were challengers huh Ammon?. -Blitz sighs. Ammon gives questioning 'woof'- Blitz: Ah well, what's past is past. C'mon let's go find something fun to do around here.

Snowbelle City

-Mezzo sends out Yin, who is holding a particular gem around his neck-

Yin: <Aaaah! What's going on? What is this thing on my neck?>

Mezzo: Don't panic. It's battle time, Yin.

-Pianis sends out Giri-

Giri: <Eeeee!>

Mezzo: Not sending out your snow starter?

Pianis: In case you forgot, it's already snowing.

Mezzo: Now then, time to see if I'm right about this.

-Mezzo taps her Mega Ring, and to her delight, it resonates with the gem around Yin's neck-

-it expands into a cocoon of white, and Yin emerges from it with a larger horn and a pair of white wings-

-Yin starts running in circles-

Yin: <Aaaah! What's happened to me? Why can I only see out of one eye?>

Mezzo: I said, focus!

Pianis: Giri, get in there and Ice Punch while he's distracted!

-Giri dashes at Yin, then leaps into the air and brings a frozen fist down on him-

Giri: <Eeee!>

Yin: <Aaah! The end has come!>

Mezzo: Hit the... uh... Amanita's thing with a Night Slash!

-Yin shakes his head a moment, then leaps at Drifter, swiping with his front claws-

Snowbelle City

Amanita: Drifter! Sludge Bomb!

Drifter: <Right, yes.>

-she bristles as Yin hits, extending her spines outwards, before hocking up a blob of sludge at him-

-meanwhile, Access surveys the field, yawning-

Ever: Flash Cannon on the Sneasel!

Access: <Hate to do this to you, but a battle's a battle, or something. Probably. Whatever.>

-Access whirls a key around, before hurling it at Giri like a knife-

Snowbelle City

Giri: <Ooooh...>

-Giri attempts to catch the key, which causes it to hit her paw and knock her over-

Giri: <Eeep!>

-Yin takes a direct hit from the sludge bomb, causing him to cough-

Yin: <No! What have you done to me?>

Pianis: Night Slash on the key thing!

Giri: <Ooh! Okay!>

-Giri leaps at Access, whirling her claws in a flurry around her-

Mezzo: Psycho Cut on the whatever it is!

-Yin focuses psychic energy in his horn, then sends it flying out at Drifter; he leaps back as he does so-

Yin: <Aaaah! Everything is wrong!>

Mezzo: Please, Yin, just focus on the battle.

Snowbelle City

Drifter: <...Oh jeez.>

Amanita: Oh well, so much for that. -she sends out Musket-

Musket: -examines the snow- <...Suitable.>

Amanita: Poison Jab the weird Absol!

-Musket rushes forward, poison leaking from the tip of her tail as she cracks it towards Yin-

-meanwhile, Access blinks at the Night Slash-

Access: <...Cute.>

Ever: Um...use something!

Access: <Specific, that.>

-Access's eyes flash, and a chilly wind whips up around her-

Snowbelle City

-Giri is tossed into the air by the Fairy Wind-

Giri: <Eeeep!>

-and lands in the snow upside-down-

Giri: <Wheee...>

-Yin, meanwhile, is hit by the Poison Jab and yelps-

Yin: <You'll never take me... alive...>

-then falls over, succumbing to the poison; the wings fade away as he does so-

Mezzo: Well, looks like he's as much of a glass cannon as his normal form.

-Mezzo sends out Cerberus, while Pianis sends out Icecap-

-Cerberus is still holding her Houndoominite in her mouth, and barks-

-Icecap simply waves, holding her Abomasite in one hand-

Icecap: <Well hello to you too, darling.>

Pianis: Not her again...

Mezzo: Relax, I've got her under control. Just watch.

-Mezzo taps her Mega Ring... and nothing happens-

Mezzo: Wait, what?

Pianis: Hm.

-Pianis, meanwhile, mimics his sister's motion and taps the badge on his chest, and the Abomasite resonates-

-it grows into a cocoon of ice that shatters a moment later, revealing a much larger, bulkier Abomasnow with ice crystals on her back-

Pianis: Focus Blast that dog before it can do anything!

Icecap: <I...>

Mezzo: I think not. Fire Blast her!

-Cerberus barks and spits out a blast of flame-

-unfortunately, due to the Houndoominite still in her mouth, it goes wildly off-target, melting a nearby snowbank-

-a moment later, Icecap lifts up her arm and calls a ball of white Aura, then sends it flying straight into Cerberus-

-it knocks her off her feet, sending her flying into a nearby lamppost-

Icecap: <There, darling...>

Mezzo: Oh, what?

Ever: Well, great. Access, got anything that'll hit them both?

Access: <Nope!>

Ever: Well, focus on the giant snow monster, then. Flash Cannon!

Access: -somehow having restored the key, flings it again at Icecap, before taking another Night Slash from Musket. She squeaks in surprise-

-Has totally been watching the battle of the couples this whole time-

Aaron: <We couldn't be somewhere warmer?>

Well a certain friend of mine isn't here and Aya can't generate enough heat, so we have to deal.

Snowbelle City

-Icecap is struck by the key, but barely even flinches-

Pianis: Blizzard!

Icecap: <Sure thing... darling...>

-she pauses a moment, then unleashes a huge blast of snow from the ice crystals on her back-

-Mezzo blocks the incoming snow with her umbrella-

Pianis: I think I like this.

Snowbelle

Fool, Lifealope and Bloodgood walk out of the Route 20 entrace and catch a glimpse of Pianis, Amanita, Ever and Mezzo's battle. They decide to watch from afar.

Bloodgood: <Ooh! Hopefully they'll spill some nice blood to appease Lord Giratina~>

Lifealope: o0o

Ever: Uh...

-sends out Cuseinga-

Cuseinga: <Hiya!>

Musket: -glares-

Ever: Discharge!

-Cuseinga leaps into the air, sending off rays of electricity-

Musket: -yowls- <Watch it! My fur is precious!>

-a stream of gas is propelled from her tail, and ignited by a spark, nailing Cuseinga in midair and knocking him to the ground-

Cuseinga: <Whoa! That was way too cool to hurt!> -leaps back to his feet-

-Icecap is zapped by the Discharge, but doesn't seem to react much-

Icecap: <Oof...>

Pianis: Blizzard again.

Icecap: <Yes... darling.>

-Icecap fires another blast of snow toward Cuseinga-

Mezzo: Do you ever use anything else?

Pianis: Why would I?

Snowbelle City

-Cuseinga is hit by the Blizzard, and then another Flamethrower. He topples over backwards-

Ever: Well, that went badly.

Snowbelle City

Pianis: I'd like to think that shows which of us is more experienced.

Mezzo: Yeah, whatever. If I'd landed that Fire Blast you would have so lost.

Icecap: <Is it over... darling?>

-Icecap glows a moment, then returns to her normal size, the ice crystals falling off her body-

Icecap: <Ah, that's better, darling. I felt like I could barely move!>

Snowbelle City

Ever: Hmph.

Amanita: Well, I have been training a year longer than you.

Snowbelle

Bloodgood totters over to the group and extends her hair-like arms out for an expecting hug.

Bloodgood: <Yes! I would love it if you four become the human sacrifices for my ritual to PRAISE GIRATINA!>

Snowbelle City

Mezzo: Um, what?

Icecap: <Sorry, darling. There aren't any sacrifices here.>

Snowbelle

Ever: ...Please don't sacrifice me.

Amanita: Agreed. And don't touch him either. -grabs Pianis protectively-

-meanwhile, a Jellicent wraps his tendrils around Bloodgood for a hug-

Snowbelle

Fool walks over and picks up Bloodgood

Fool: Uhh... Don't worry about Bloodgood here, she's a little weird like that >_>.

Lifealope: {...This is what I was talking about when I said the mistress has a slight fascination with the adorable macabre...}

Bloodgood wraps her appendages around Drift.

Bloodgood: <༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ARE YOU HERE TO HONOUR OUR LORD AND SAVOIR GIRATINA? ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽>
