-She pulls out her notebook and starts writing something again, apparently having lost interest in the conversation. Belladonna gives the closest thing she can to a shrug at Nightshade.-

Belladonna: ~Indeed. And if we're lucky, we won't have anything to do with the place - or some of the items contained with it - again.~

Everyone bar Masamune, Kagetsuna, Iskander and Magoichi have been busy dodging as the four are busy protecting them wherever possible, most recently deflecting Obscura with assistance from the Tailwind.

Masamune: "This past due dinosaur is really annoying now. Not only do I have to protect my idiot daughter, but also everyone you dragged around, Magoichi."

Magoichi: "I didn't tell them to follow me, you moron!"

Iroha-hime: "I'm not an idiot!"

Masamune: "What'd you call me, playboy?"

Magoichi: "You heard me, runt."

Masamune: "Now I'm feeling pretty pissed."

Magoichi: "What a coincidence, I am too."

Masamune: "Air Slash!"

Magoichi: "Leaf Storm!"

The two Pokémon unleash a fierce typhoon of leaves at PenUmbra.

Holon City

-Grant's question causes Alice to pause, though she does not look up from her notebook.-

Alice: ...No, not anymore.

Holon City

"Not... Anymore? You mean you and him have broken up?" asked Grant, now getting curious himself

"<I'm seeing a role reversal here.>" said Lusio.

Holon City

-This time, Alice does look up at Grant, giving him a stern look.-

Alice: You know, the last person who showed such undue curiosity regarding my personal affairs turned out to be a Cipher operative. I should hope that there is no need to regard you with the same suspicion.

Infinite Tower

- Penumbra takes the Aura Sphere and is slammed by a Luster Purge from Waka and the Leaf Storm and grunts-

-He then X-Scissors Ichigo and knocks Waka to the side, and sweeps an Ice Beam around the battlefield, though it's slightly weaker than normal-

-Waka staggers back, then sends a psychic message to all of Ransei-

Amaterasu is fighting the Ghost Lord.

Ransei

- The people receive this message, and cheer for Amaterasu...-

Umbra's Castle, ramparts

-Except one, watching the tower from afar-

-Ichigo is thrown backwards-

Ichigo:Ow... -examines himself, noticing his wound has opened up again- Oh, that's bad...

-He gets up, and launches Spectre, who aims a Bite attack, while he goes for another strike-

Alright, Keys, now!

-Sabaku manages to close the rest of the distance with ease due to Penumbra's attention being elsewhere. He pulls himself up and balances himself by grabbing one of the tubes going across the beast's back.-

Sabaku: Wooh! Point for me!

-Meanwhile, down on the main battleground, Vulcan is hit by the Ice Beam and is hurting.-

Vulcan: <If you're gonna do something, do it now!>

Sabaku: Right!

-Clenching his free hand, he focuses on an old adage he was taught as a young man.-

Sabaku: Swift as wind, silent as forest! Fierce as fire and sturdy as mountain!

Fū!

Rin!

Ka!

Zan!

-Sabaku's eyes light up with an intense fire, and his words echo across the entire battlefield.-

Sho throws up multiple Double Plays, affecting all allies near him, allowing them two moves their next turn. -

Sho: Never underestimate a merchant. Flamethrower! Block the icebeam!

- the two foxes launch flames that block the icebeam, but doesn't stop it

-Elise is peering around the town, having decided to go off on her own to look for the scientists-

Elise:Might as well do something helpful, seeing as I've done little recently.

Infinity Tower - Around 600 years ago

-Herbert, already on the ground, is passed over by the Ice Beam. Lucanus is not so quick to dodge this time around, and his arm is frozen to one of the tower walls.-

Lucanus: Urk... here's hoping that Sabaku knows what he is doing...

-Herbert surges to his feet.-

Herbert: Beginning to regret picking a fight you can't win, are you? Doesn't matter. We're going to kill you anyway, no matter how long we have to fight for.

-He summons an Auric warhammer in his hands and charges at Penumbra, discarding his sword.-

Holon City

-Alice's glare at Grant becomes less accusatory, though she remains wary.-

Alice: Whilst I believe I understand why you are inquiring, I consider information regarding my relationship status to be somewhat more private than the subject of a trainer's license.

Infinity Tower, 600 years ago

~Clunk!~

Monos: Teleportation's a harsh mistress...

-I remained like that a bit, a huddled mass of steel trying to regain his balance. Eventually I managed to stand and take in the battle before me through the thin slit that the helmet afforded-

Monos: And of course they start without me, younglings...

-A certain gold and silver Bisharp finally finishes reigning in his anger for striking out at Lucanus and reacts to the Penumbra-

Edge: <Burn and SUFFER!> -Fires off a series of Shadow Balls at Penumbra-

Holon City

"Heh, fair enough, I didn't know that Herbert had actually dated someone before." said Grant, he then sits on the bench as well "By the way, I'm Grant, you are...?"

Infinity Tower

-Ducks under the Ice Beam and climbs up Penumbra, attempting to hack at one of the tubes-

Damn, I may have to rank Annoski down a peg.

Masamune: "Crap! Ice attacks!"

Masamune jumps out of the way, catching onto his Braviary's talons. Magoichi, on the other hand, is hit by the full attack, freezing him and his Sceptile. He is swiftly broken out by an X-Scissor.

Shigezane: "Your guard is too open, Commander Magoichi."

Magoichi: "This is really cramping my style. I'm supposed to be cool."

Masamune lands next to him, with Kagetsuna stepping up to join them.

Kagetsuna: "For the briefest moment, you were. Maybe we should've left you frozen."

Magoichi: "Tch. Cold as always, Kojuro."

Kagetsuna: "It's the best way to preserve quality."

-Sabaku's power charges his own fists. He turns around to see Tagg now up on Penumbra's back with him. He gives a friendly wave.-

Sabaku: Hey there!

-He then begins ripping his bladed claws into the Ghost Lord's tubing as well.-

Infinity Tower - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus' eyes widen in fear upon finally seeing Edge, and his struggle to break free of the ice takes on a measure of desperation. If the younger of the two Cains does notice the figure that still strikes terror into him, then he gives no visible reaction.-

Holon City

-Alice pauses again before responding to Grant.-

Alice: Alice. And I will admit that the fact surprises even me at times. Might I ask how you know Lucius?

After Umbra spills the beans on who has the Lunar Pendant, Izumi almost prepares to shoot Ammy. However, due to her better judgement (as well as calculating that it was all Just as Planned for Umbra). She screams out Angrish and fires an Obscura tipped arrow from her bow (whether through her own unseen ability or via Yamata) at Umbra. Yamata and Mizu chip in with a Dark Pulse and a Scald respectively.

Izumi:    NOX YOU MAGINIFCENT BASTARD!
