Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? What happened here...
Let's not talk about it.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Okay sounds as good an idea as anything. Someone got themselves thumped I suppose speculating or asking is it's own sort of trouble.
So, I just found out that my Dad attended Catholic mass when he was young. His mother was Catholic apparently.
I still need to try and find a local Catholic church that'll be okay with me attending and converting.
That's interesting to know. And I wish you all the luck.
Why do you keep linking to articles? It's going on to become borderline spam.
It's not spamming if it's relevant to the thread.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Crimson's daily devotional links are pretty much a tradition in this thread for the past few years.
And some of those links are fairly good and worth reading.
Indeed.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Years? It's been that long?

You say I am loved, when I don’t feel a thing. You say I am strong, when I think I am weak. You say I am held, when I am falling short.Weird. Time sure hustles doesn't it?
You say I am loved, when I don’t feel a thing. You say I am strong, when I think I am weak. You say I am held, when I am falling short.wow, it's been that long?
Turn Off the Scoreboard. i'll have to remember this one.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. That's an important one, yes.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.Yeah, my grandmother has a little thing in her kitchen that has "Never go to bed angry" as one of its things.
Not that she has to worry about that now because my grandfather passed away four years ago, but still.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.So the Lent 2016 began yesterday. Despite not being a Catholic (but seriously thinking about converting into one), I decided to observe it as well.
Things I will be giving up:
- Non-academic related websites.
- Electronic games
- Carbonated drinks
- Playing single player
Things I will be doing more
- Exercise
- Studies
- Reading the Bible - Maybe I should try my third readthrough
- Writing.
..........So basically being a more productive human being.
...I should do that outside of Lent too, really, but for now I'm going to do my best just keeping that during Lent, because even that has proven to be very difficult for me multiple times.
All right, see you all in a bit and pray me luck. May God bless all of you.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Bye, Roy. Good luck :)
I actually didn't know that Ash Wednesday involved literally putting ashes on your head. When I came out of class yesterday I saw a guy with some kind of black smear on his forehead and I thought "Should I point it out, or...?" then I found out they actually do that.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I really need to start making some actual steps towards converting. I need to make sure to start going to some local churches and seeing what I can do.
Well, I guess that wraps it up, then. GG, y'all tried.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."
