QQQQQ: Dae, I see no need to incite heated debate here. Vorpy's simply asking what we (Nerdy Guys) like to see in female characters.

...what we (Nerdy Guys) like to see...

...we (Nerdy Guys) like...

And I'm still curious as to what Nerdy Females would like to see, as if there is really a difference.

As much as I hate to say it, just as much as I'm going to hate it when AHR hits me in the balls for saying it, nerdy guys are usually the kind of guys who have dominated by women all their lives, so they usually like women who don't remind them of those other girls. Someone they can protect and be responsible for, and who'll actually listen instead of shooting down his opinion or bossing him around.

Or maybe that's just me. tongue

@Tidal Wave: Given the love of dominatrixes, I'd say that your mindset is not unanimously agreed upon. It's why I posted the whole monster post in the last page, with the three different possibilities, and the three different possibilities from THOSE three different possibilities.

I'm just going to ignore the implications and assume Vorpy's just looking for information for her writing. So I'll answer.

I like female characters I can root for and believe. Other than that, I'll just have to give you some examples of female characters from movies and literature I found hot.

People I haven't found hot (even though I was apparently supposed to):

  • Megan Fox.
  • Sookie Stackhouse. or any female character on that show, really. They're all overdone, and Sookie's an annoying bitch.
  • Any Vain Sorceress type from all those 80s sword-and-sorcery flicks (for all that i liked watching them...)

yeah. hope this helps some.

so they usually like women who don't remind them of those other girls.
Hmmm, Nope, sorry, gonna have to disagree with you there.
