Yep, I've done Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil 3, Heavenly Sword, Portal, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill Origins in one sitting each. Not all at once mind you. Did Origins in 40 minutes without saving.

Can't think of anything witty, so have this instead...

Oh yeah, I forgot that one. I've beat it 3 times in one go. Yes that was a long day.

A month or so ago, I was at my friend's house. He had to do an essay, but told me I could play any game on his Wii or 360 while he worked on it. I randomly decided to play Kirby 64 on the VC. We both finished at around the same time, and he cheered me on through O2.

When I was a kid way back in olden times and the NES was king I used to beat games in one sitting all the time. Of course back then there were a lot of games that had no password or save system so you didn't have much of a choice in the matter I guess. I remember I could play through Trojan in like 15 minutes. Contra probably took me maybe 20 minutes. Bionic Commando and Rygar took about an hour and a half. I think it's pretty neat now there's this little subculture of Speed Running many of these classic games.

I can't even remember the last modern game I beat in one sitting. Modern games seem to require a lot more commitment in terms of time and energy (not that that's a bad thing really).

Every single Halo. SteelBattalion. Various Call Of Duty games.

Basically, unless we're talking about very long games like RTS or RPG I beat them within 1 or two days.

My other signature is a Gundam.

Beat Uncharted 2 in one go, and it certainly feels like it should be beat in one go (despite, er, being four, five hours long?).

Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.

YA RLY. I beat games all the time in single sittings.

Some of them last as little as 15 minutes to half an hour but I do.

I have with a few short games, but I normally just prefer to take my sweet time. Speedruns just aren't my thing.

Longest game I've done this with was the original Blaster Master, years after I'd learned all the ins-and-outs of it.

I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!

Super Paper Mario

I can speed run through Pokemon Red And Blue. The game is so poorly programmed and buggy that I can beat it in less than one hour.

[up]Did you glitch abuse?

Cause I glitch abused on some stages, one time I glitch abused on one of Silver's Stages so I could skip the Egyptian Billard Balls of Hell puzzle.

Of course. Screw that ball puzzle.

Also, now that I just remembered, I also tried to go through Shadow The Hedgehog, specifically the main ten different endings and the Last Story, in a day a few months ago. Unfortunately, I failed it, thanks to Lost Impact.

Resident Evil 4 in less than seven hours. All I really took from that was a sore butt from sitting in one spot for too long, and the satisfaction of playing through without dying once. cool

When I was younger I did it with Pokemon Red, started at around 9 in the morning and got it done late in the afternoon.

Disclaimer: If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared to not only retract it, but also to deny under oath I ever said it.

Halo ODST.

I didn't get all the logs though, and I played on the easiest mode.
