Not that I'm sounding rude regarding on this, I'm a bit surprised that something like this has happened. Then again, Nintendo themselves may have disliked Justin bieber as much as the hating community has. Speaking of which, havent they been overprotective on their products since the infamous Super Mario bros movie?

In terms of marketing, yes. However, that doesn't explain Ninjabread Man.
