Battlestations

There's unfortunately no trope page for Battlestations Midway and Pacific.

I'm surprised this game seemed glossed over by the forum. I honestly haven't seen a game as innovative as Battlestations in awhile. Which operates like an RTS with first person sort of elements.

Multiplayer for Midway was great, maps gave you certain units and you had to make due.

I hated what Pacific did to multiplayer though, where Edios reverted to old school 'point buy' 'spawn' systems. Where games devolved into nothing but battleship v battleship. Plus, the map grahpics were too hard to decipher.

Anyone else play either game?

I've been trying to get Midway to work for PC but I have no idea how.

I did. I quit playing after I got stuck on the second to last Japanese mission - the one that gives you only two submarines vs a small fleet plus a carrier. Couldn't get a hang of the multiplayer either, kept getting taken over by paratroopers or watched as my planes got slaughtered by the dumbest of things.
