Discworld Death and Endless Death are both kinda workaholics. Difference is Discworld Death is the kind of workaholic who takes his job a little TOO seriously, and has built his life around it rather than the other way around. I think crossover ships work mostly (there may be some stories in which they work, but good luck finding them) only as Crack Pairing. Of course, the thing with crack pairings is, that they don't work...

People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.

Traditionally, I don't think being 'Crack' means that it won't work. To me its about having a concept that, on its face, is patently absurd. Doesn't mean that the writer can't treat the topic seriously and make it work.

Several crossover pairings could work better than some pairings between characters of the same franchise-series. Even rather a few Official Couples.

Mine was (adult) Rydia and (adult) Rikku. I haven't been able to figure out why except that their skills complement one another's and the serious/flighty mix would be fun to play with. Actually, now that I think about it, they'd probably work better as partners and friends.

But my crowning achievement has to be shipping Negi Springfield with Laharl. [1]s who are also [2]s FTW.

Don't quite get the complimentary skills thing, but, I accept it.
