Captain Falcon isn't just awesome in Smash Bros.

Post about your favorite excess-of-1000-miles-per-hour racing game here. What sort of racing build do you prefer? Are you having an agonizing time making it through F-Zero GX's storymode? What is your favorite level?

To start up, I'm really having fun learning to use Blood Hawk. Its acceleration and boost are amazing and its body is good, so it's more about getting used to the awful grip.

I'm working on 100%ing the 64 F-Zero game...

What character are you using for the parts you have trouble with?

F-Zero GX is the best racing game I've ever played. Took me a long time to collect all the machines, but it was totally worth it. Never managed to build a machine that actually worked by myself, though.

Mighty Hurricane, Hyper Speeder and that pink bunny thing which name I forgot were some of my favourites.

I'm begging to wonder if Nintendo stop giving a crap about F-Zero and just abandon it? Eh, who knows?

Future Smash Bros:Pico, Zoda, Deathborn.

Best Racers Who Are Not Captain Falcon:Phoenix, Kate Allen, Bio Rex and Pico.

Best cinematic, Pico's ending(though I don't own the game and haven't seen them all)

I remember unlocking all the cars in F-Zero X, especially racing the last two (insanely brutal) cups. I'd only played the game sporadically for a few years, but then I got on a kick and decided to try and actually reach the end credits, I mostly made an attempt every day for about a month and felt absolutely elated when I finally managed to squeeze past those Rubber-Band A.I. bastards through all the tracks and the X-cup in one shot. From what I've heard, I really need to pick up a copy of GX.

Yes, you need a copy of GX. There is no excuse.
