So I've almost finished my first playthrough of the Sa Ga 2 / Final Fantasy Legends II remake. My party consists of a human male, human female, female esper/mutant, and robot. True to form, I'm understated and underequipped—everyone in my party is slower than they need to be, my main guy is the weakest in my party, and barring a miracle and/or Muse intervention, it statistically impossible for me to beat the final boss.

God, the remake is sooooo pretty. And the Japanese website has some kick-ass wallpapers, like so: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/saga2

So! Speak about how awesome the original games were, and the unspeakable things you'd do to get the remakes stateside.
