Addendum, for clarification.
"Games that suck, except for X" is a complaining thread.
"Games that you hated" is a complaining thread.
"Pick a bad game and say something you liked about it" is a complaining thread.
As Eddie said, focus on the positive. "Your favorite video game X" is fine, although we'd prefer that the majority of threads be about specific games.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Another complaint topic: "Why video game company [X] sucks." Usually followed by "... and therefore we should pirate their games."
If you want to discuss major news items, fine, but try to keep it a discussion, not an outlet for INTERNET RAEG.
In fact, any piracy derail is likely to earn thumps/locks.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!""Unpopular opinions" is also an automatic lock/delete.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
It's not like we can't complain, but be more creative than making a thread specifically for that. Or, more to the point, be specific in the complaining. Like having a thread talking about something you don't want to happen. *Points to the thread about games we DON'T want to see on console.*
