...Yeeeah, seems I mistaken. Sorry.
@32nd: Just drop one of them for this. I'm so lonely being the only meguca here, I swear if I go Grief Seed I'm possessing the troper servers and dragging every one of you into my labyrinth
...Just kidding.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Happy Birthday, Madoka Kaname!
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs.I'll pour one out for Madoka.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! An important day for both Madoka and Fullmetal Alchemist, huh? Maybe I should have a character's birthday be on October 3rd!
Oh God! Natural light!Almost forgot to wish her a happy birthday. Good thing I remembered!
Guess I'm partying tonight in honor of Madokami's birthday. Kinda like Christmas, I suppose.
"I will be strong, no matter how long it takes!"Happy birthday, Madoka!
Is nobody going to mention Kyubey blinking in the concept movie?
Why? He's blinked before. And being creepy is something he does all the time.
For this spooky season, something that should never be allowed to happen
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Indeed. I don't even care about the bear, Kyubey generates despair from contracts already.
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead. Is it weird that I hate Monokuma, but love Junko?
Maybe it's because Junko has a better dub voice, or that I like her multiple personas better than Monokuma's personality.
Or maybe it's because when Junko's revealed herself, she's usually a lot more direct, while Monokuma is often frustratingly vague and deceptive.
Oh God! Natural light!Nico B has the opposite opinion. He like Monokuma but dislikes Junko. I don't personally get liking one but disliking the other. Monokuma was always Junko putting on an act, not a separate character.
I like them all but they were in despair and want to inflict despair on others. I can understand why some people would hate and understandably so however I think they are good characters for the roles in their respective stories.
"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"I honestly do think it's his dub voice. It's...well, annoying. Which fits the character, but doesn't change the fact that it's annoying.
I also really do think there's a difference in behavior. For example, when Monokuma's asked a question that might not be in his best interest to answer, he tends to throw a tantrum. But when Junko is asked such a question, she tends to take it smoothly and answer it in a way that invokes despair the best way she can.
Of course, by the time Junko's front and center, anything she's trying to conceal has already basically been found out.

Oh God! Natural light! As a nice little Christmas special I got myself some Madoka manga, and it is hilarious. Homura Tamura is officially-approved Magica Quartet manga that takes Homura's timejumps into increasingly divergent and cracky AU timelines.
(Red Witch Kyouko, who raids chocolate factories)
It does all the hilarious bait-and-switching.
(300 soulgem mode Homura, who wastes the whole month looking for all her gems)
(Cafe Homu, full of numerous AU Homura counterparts who wound up there while running around space and time to save Madoka)
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yes, Homura Tamura is great and well-worth checking out, especially if you want to read a Homura-centric parody of PMMM. Volume 2 is even funnier IMO.
Yeah I got Vol 2 too. It is awesome.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Seems Homura is going to be the protagonist of madogatari according to a recent staff interview. Unless we go full blown Villain Protagonist route (doubt it given the traditional White-and-Grey Morality of this series), this means Homura's motives are likely good or at least well intentioned rather than malicious.
Seems the theory comparing her to "Magical Girl Korialvastraz + Vaelvastraz may have some fruit to it after all.
Note: Korialvastraz is the husband of a red dragon called Alexstraza, who is often compared to an older, wiser, and more pragmatic Madoka. He is utterly devoted to her, willing to ensure her safety, well being, and happiness through whatever it takes, even if he has to be an asshole to do it (major Good is Not Nice streak in him). This culminates in him dying in a way that made him out into a traitor when in truth he was trying to protect her and the red flight from a plot to destroy them from within.
As per Valevastraz, he was tortured to insanity by a sadistic Troll and wanted to be killed by those around him. Alexstraza is ultimately the one who had to pull the trigger. Sounds just like Homulily in Rebellion.
We may be getting a "war within one's own head" scenario.
Vaelastrasz fits but I wouldn't really compare Homura to Korialstrasz. He unambiguously and objectively did the right thing, it's just that no one else knew the whole story, but I really can't say the same of Homura.

This song needs more love.
I hope this isn't a mobage. Because my quota for those is already filled.
