We can leave it to them and not worry about doing anything ourselves?

Oh, and Hnd 03, awesome Marisa avatar. Love it. did you draw it?

Siegmund incorporated my new signature into one of his pictures so I decided to make an avatar out of part of it.

It seems multiplayer can be still be a pain with quickscopers and the like running around. Thank God for Support pointstreaks.

Support streaks were really the thing I was most excited for.

Sleeping. Don't bother me.
I am posting here because I can't find any MW 2 thread.

I just love this sound.

Recently finished this game.

Did anyone actually thought that Yuri would survive the game? After playing 2, I figured that it would be safe to bet that any new character would die. Frost is a weird case, who survived by the virtue of where the hell did he go.

War ALWAYS changes. Man does not.
I think Frost is canonically dead at the end of the game.

On Yuri? The way he died pissed me the hell off. He survived much tougher opposition all through the game only to be killed by a piece of rebar.

On streaks? Here's a linky.

Well, not a piece of rebar, a gunshot to the face. Same fate as Gaz.

Frost isn't dead. He basically just disappears.

I was sure that that piece of rebar through the guts would have killed Yuri anyway. When he attacked Makarov he was basically already a dead man walking, wasn't he?

It was low down in his torso enough to not hit any vital organs, if I recall correctly, and you can live without a stomach anyway...

I am pretty sure that if it wasn't Makarov, the wound have killed him. Sure, he survived worse, but look at Soap; if you keep piling on abuse on your body, it will take its toll. Man, I wish he didn't have to die. After all the abuse he went through, I think he deserves a happy ending. Then again, it is not as if Roach and Ghost (is this even spoiler now?) didn't went through a lot.

You know, did Yuri and Price have to raid the hotel alone? By that time the Task Force 141 wasn't disavowed anymore. Couldn't he have gotten support from other special forces to take care of the mooks and finished Makarov with his own hands?

Task Force 141 wasn't disavowed anymore, yes. But bringing in other special forces makes the mission Kill/Capture, and they wanted to avoid Capture at all costs.

I guess some of this could have been chalked up to pricde had something to do with it. He and Soap alone took on Shepherd and his massive army of guards by themselves before, after all. Compared to Shepherd, Makarov is nothing.

That raises another of my complaint; I know that Price is an uber-badass and all, but Makarov went down to quickly. I wanted to see him getting into some nice fistfights and brawl.

Revy Gonna Give It To Ya
[up]I felt Makarov's death was to the point, and it got it across well.

...Course, would be better if IW actually gave me a reason to care about any of their characters. Though I'll admit Soap's death was pretty well done.

I really hope MW whatever doesn't go back to Price again. I kinda hope he's put out to pasture.

I am serious. This is my serious face.
I really didn't like how the series went from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" to "Call Of Duty: Look At How Awesome Price Is".

I liked the ending of the second game much better. It was just exploding with epicness. In my opinion, at any rate.

Maybe it might have been more awesome if the final fight was a Freefall Fight.

Also, in my opinion the second game's music was the best.

^ Second game had the best music by far but 3 had a few gems of goodness.

I think Modern Warfare 2 had the best music in the history of video game period, simply because the composer was Hans Fucking Zimmer.

Of course, your opinion may differ.

I think Modern Warfare 3 had the best trailer, though. I really loved the music.

^ I'd disagree with Modern Warfare 2 having the best music ever. ZUN, Pixel, the guys who did Super Metroid and Donkey Kong Country and more are all fierce competition.

[up]Although it's related to the MW series, it might be better to take that discussion to the proper thread here.

But just to chime in myself... I'd say the Marine Recon music from COD 4 was the most memorable for me. Listening to that rock as a horde of marines began to rappel down from the choppers admist all of the chaos in the city, while tanks and jets are storming in felt absolutely EPIC.
Would you believe I never fully watched the original Indiana Jones trilogy? I gotta correct that someday.
Sleeping. Don't bother me.
The first game's last few tracks, starting from Game Over, were really nice.
