Archie killed Maxie iIRC.
Pretty much the part of the Emerald arc where it decided to get good.
I have a feeling the ORAS arc will be based on the Delta Episode, or at least I'm certain it's going to borrow elements from it.
Hoopa transferring alternate dimension Archie/Maxie? Them not being actually dead through magic crap?
Anyhoo, the Oras at least starts in the same world as other manga and is after emerald :p Dunno whether it will get into dimensions later though

The fourth X and Y volume came out today. Apparently it has a heavy focus on Malva.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I lost track after HGSS.
What's been translated at this point? B & W is done right?
Yes.
There are like 3 different stories going on right now (BW2, XY, and ORAS) and I have no idea what's happening any more.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Did we ever get closure on Sird?
The Protomen enhanced my life.not that I recall beyond her working for Galactic.
BW 2 has Lack-two and Looker fighting Genesect and Neo plasma while trying to find Whit-2 because she used to be in Plasma. XY has the Y with Xerneas and X with a bunch of mega capable pokemon trying to find more mega stones with the help of Green. In Oras Hoopa brought Maxie and Archie back and a bunch of Legendaries and Red and Blue show up.
Who's that, that Team Galactica woman who could do weird shit?
She showed up in FRLG first under Team Rocket's employ, but yeah that's her.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Oh yeah that is a pretty big loose end isn't it? Maybe whenever the Gen IV remakes come out and Special gets to it...
Stella ~Part 3 (Atelier Shallie)For some reason I thought she was working for Team Plasma too.
Sird was a member of the Beast Trio who was based on Dracula, and was seen working for Team Rocket at first but was actually an undercover Galactic agent. She was able to escape Lorelei's Jynx's ice handcuffs despite being injured, brainwash people by poking team in the head, never lost a battle on-panel, and had a Darkrai on hand that turned the Dex Holders to stone. And she escaped.
At least as far as I know.

The Protomen enhanced my life.she was last seen in D/P chapter explaning herself going undercover and apparently is was researching the space pokemon deoxys/jirachi.
What I found to be funny about the recent ORAS chapter summaries is that Joker Immunity is in full play for all game villains previously thought to be killed (or reformed) in past arcs. Not only are Maxie and Archie alive and well, but they also got new Tabitha, Courtney, Matt and Shelly with the Hand Wave Retcon that they are code-name. Who actually dies in this manga series for good?

They probably would have stayed dead if not for the out of manga remakes
That's lame.
It's not Joker Immunity so much as it is the writer didn't see this coming and had to come up with some BS to undo the damage. I think he definitely intended to have them Killed Off for Real before this.
So how are Archie and Maxie still alive? Couldn't find anything on it.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?So A Wizard Did It?
Somehow more acceptable than the Celebi Deus ex Machina at the end of Ruby and Sapphire.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I consider it to be the same thing since the only reason they brought back Maxie and Archie despite them supposedly dying is because they have a remake game to promote, in other words promoting merchandising. It's the same as Micheal Myers and Dr. Loomis returning for Halloween 4 fine and dandy (at least Micheal is) despite Halloween 2 showing them getting blown up into flames and burning into a crisp and the creator's intent of keeping them dead. Which reminds me: Despite having more on-screen deaths than other forms of Pokémon media, how many dead characters in Adventures actually stay dead as opposed to coming Back from the Dead?

I can't remember the death toll and how much of it stayed permanent, but I don't people coming Back from the Dead besides the end of RS.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Kind of lame but understandable.
Sird was pretty badass though. I thought Emerald was one of the weakest parts but the ending was pretty cool, kind of a shame due to ORAS it loses impact somewhat.
The mangaka must be swamped with all the new games.
No wonder he's losing his edge.
He's trying to write 2/3 stories simultaneously and is probably trying to connect them to Z or whatever. I'm surprised he's still working.

Didn't Archie and Maxie die in the manga?
