I now have all the vampires, actually. Besides new Kongwai, but I have the old one so I technically have all of them.

My Saleh was also already wind type, so I didn't need to use a ring on him for flavour.

Ok, this has been going on long enough. I will bump this.

In the look for Tales Series announcements (Tales of Switch, where are you?) I saw a Gamespot ad and took the bait: the new 'Atari Mini' and the 784th iteration of AT Games' Sega Genesis clone system! You know, those 'XX preinstalled games' deals.

-*slow taps of people walking away*

Wait, they are gonna be GOOD this time! HDMI video out, sound emulation seems solved and you can finally use save states! And if the rumor is true the SNES Mini would be released in time to turn Christmas 2017 into a repeat of the 90's console wars.

What does this have to do with the Tales Series? Nothing much... But I'd want to hear what would be your favorite 'game collection' if Namco ever re-released the old classics in bundles.

The Symphonia Chronicles + Graces combo is sweet and the Xillia double pack is not bad either. I had found both for 30 euros each. Most probably Zesty + Bersy would be next.

Tales of Destiny Chronicles (PSX Destiny, Destiny 2, Destiny PS 2) seems obvious. Apart from that, a handhelds collection of Tempest (R?), Innocence (R?), and Hearts (R?) would be nice.

I'm currently on the Heracles in Tales of Vesperia. I'm on there to try to rescue Estelle from Commandant Alexei. Before that,I was at Myorzo with the others trying to find out a way to prevent the destruction of the world. When Estelle was kidnapped, I went to the temple at Baction. There, I fought Captain Schwann.

What did you think of that portion of the story?

I really want to play Destiny R and Phantasia PSI. The rest I can take or leave.

I really want more people to play Eternia, though.

I like that the story is getting more serious and intense. I liked the twist with Captain Schwann. His boss battle was fun, even though I got killed a lot. I want to see what will happen next.

I want more people to play Eternia because Meredy is utterly precious.

Meredy is a really huge Woobie...

I want to see Namco re-release Eternia as well. They should have put it on the Play Station Store years ago.

Yes please! I can play PS 1 games on my PS 2, but Eternia costs a fortune.

So, I am currently at Zaude. I just finished doing the boss battle with Yeager. He was really tough. I died repeatedly. His mystic arte would kill my party in one hit. I had to use a lot of life bottles and make Estellise only perform healing artes in order to win. BTW, I used Estellise, Raven, and Rita to beat Yeager. I beat him and I found his death to be surprisingly sad. I'm sure those henchwomen of his will be a problem in the future.

Gauche and Droite are an optional boss fight that's only available if you complete an easy-to-miss sidequest chain.

They will show up again in the coliseum after you get their invitation card from said sidequest. You can steal their unique weapons when you fight them. (If you only manage to snag one, you can use it as a base to synth the other, back and forth.)

Repede is the party's thief + Gauche and Droite's dangerously short skirts + certain piece of NSFW fanart = Repede's reputation of Panty Thief.

If you don't have a sidequest checklist I'd get one NOW. I noticed that Yuri's Guardian Field arte comes from one that you get from the Dark Enforcer questline... and that's one of the most missable ones! (the skill comes from Dein Nomos, which you won't keep for long... but the Fake Dein Nomos has it too and isn't missable, so whew) I know you can always do NG+, but this game is HUGE even on replays. I'd be cautious.

Rolled on the Summer Awakening gacha. Got both Judith and Ludger. Unfortunately don't have any hawks for Ludger but eventually he'll be useful.

Here's an update on my progress in Vesperia. I'm 36 hours into Vesperia. I'm in the tower of Tarquaron. I've managed to solve another puzzle that will lead me to Duke. Before, I fought Zagi once more and this time, the SOB is dead. I'm almost near the end of the game. Wish me luck.

Lucky. I got Sara and Reid. Sara's an arte healer...but in a micro bikini I mean jesus thats a LOT of skin she's showing.

Yeah. Honestly as soon as I awaken Judith I'm switching her into another outfit. I'm not comfy with the girls are wearing in the "swimsuit" set at all.

I don't really min with Judith but with Sara you can see near EVERYTHING.

Judith's bothers me because it's right in your face, huge, on screen if you want to use her as a friend lead. I don't want someone glancing over my shoulder and seeing that on my phone screen.

Yeah, true. I can imagine having 6* bikini Judith as your home screen on your phone, you have to talk to a cop about something and he gets a bit distracted by Judy and asks your number again and its pretty embarassing.

I finally finished Vesperia today. I managed to beat Duke. He was a tough boss, especially in his second form. I used a lot of items to beat him.

Overall, I really liked Vesperia. It was a fun game with likable characters, a nice artstyle and a good battle system. While it does have its flaws(the combat could a little repetitive, the story starts to drag on after a while, it had annoys puzzles, and the bosses could be frustrating at times) its strengths makes up for it. I really liked this game a lot, and I really can't wait to play the other games in the series. It gets gets an 8.5/10 from me.
