I was thinking about PS 4!Zestiria myself since I own the others.

Graces is the bestest one~

Symphonia. Even if the PS 3 port is still 30fps at least its not as fucked a port as the PC version. And Graces as well for the best battle system. Xillia 1 and 2 try to combine the TP meter with the CC system and Zestiria tries to do either blast gauge, the CC system from Graces and even the meter spirit thing from Destiny 2.

Speaking of Tales Of Ports Done By Tiertex, Jim Sterling has a look at PC Symphonia.

Graces F is the one to get IMO.

Graces also has the most unlockable costumes out of the HD games. Well I say "HD" games but it was a Wii game once so...

Does it? I figured Symphonia would, since it was before the whole DLC costumes rather than unlockable costumes thing that's been in most tales games.

I said the "HD" games, as in those on Xbox 360 and PS 3, mostly.

But yeah Symphonia has the most unlockable costumes, then Abyss

I figured Symphonia was included due to the remake, my bad.

But yeah Graces has a lot more unlockable in game outfits compared to Xillia and Zestiria so far.

Oh yeah, it actually features full costumes and not accessories or the occasional recolor.

It appears that Namco is aware of the bugs in ToS PC and has promised that they are working on patches. They also released a patch today, but the game is still pretty damn borked in its current state.

Graces has the best combat, best characters, funniest skits, and actual dungeons and puzzles.

Durante of Neogaf fame had some words to say on PC Gamer. This is the guy who fixed the PC!FFXIII games to the point that SE made the fixes official.

I think all it did was add a small redist package to the install. Meh.

14 mins to fix the resolution lock...ouch. Well now we only need an 60 FPS fix and all is well.

Not yet. How about mouse and keyboard support?

But then I heard they are working on patches, so now I am not as pissed. I was going to say that the best way to play Symphonia on a PC involved riding a dolphin *ahem* so they have no excuse (if you own a PC able to run Zestiria, how have you not done this already? etc)

For the guy who wants Tales games: I said that the Graces + Symphonia Chronicles bundle is heavily discounted where I live, but I just found the Xillia 1+2 deal still at 40 bucks. Weird...

@ Kombat: No, no, the game with most in-game costumes is and will forever be (seeing DLC hungry Namco right now...) Vesperia. No contest. Symphonia 1 is close, with Abyss at third place. If we count DLC, Vesperia still wins, with Xillia 2 second (No fair! It uses Xillia 1 DLC too!) then yes, Graces.

Though I never use costumes in Symphonia because they're tied to titles and thus stats.

The first patch is out and...it did nothing. The game is now also crashing before it even starts for people.

The fact that this port was done by the american branch while the alright Zestiria port was done by the european branch at least let's us know what ports to avoid in the future.

They should have let us Euros handle it then

Great modder is still fixing problems with the port.

Yeah I heard about that.

I'm glad he re-added the adorable cel-shaded black outlines. I really missed those from the PS 3 version. Now Lloyd looks super adorable!

...still waiting for a debug room/rutee mod tho :V
