I'm done with another song, 'dancier' than the previous ones. That won't be the norm, but I enjoyed making this =x

No regret shall pass over the threshold! Not bad. It's like The Prodigy produeced a Lady Gaga or Kesha song.
Here's a Big Beat track I made a while back.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."'nother unfinished hip hop beat. There was a thunderstorm going on and it made me want to make some ominous music. Note the blatant Black Sabbath sample reuse.

Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.Sounds like something The Avalanches would've made.
Here's my take on an old school house track remixed many times over.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Not bad. Certainly better than any attempt at house music I could make.
Remember when I said this?
If this all sounds like I was deliberately trying to make a genre fusion thing, rest assured, I wasn't. I made it as a joke. I was pretty much just messing around with the drum samples built into my keyboard and then just added the vocals (which were recorded months earlier as a joke in the first place anyway—they talk about missing someone's birthday party because of robot wrestling, which was totally awesome, and he made up the words as he went along) and (deciding I didn't have the patience to use my keyboard to play something synth-sounding) made up some two chord guitar riff that barely ever changes, followed by overdubbed (and unintentionally Velvet Underground-ish near the end) guitar solos. Then I beefed up the bass by using Audacity's "Bass Boost" button rather than bothering to record a bass track. And, after screwing around with the leveling of the mix for a while, decided "screw it" and distorted most of the guitars and ended up with vocals that probably clip in certain parts because I was too lazy to level each tiny part of them myself (or, rather, I tried and lost my patience since I ended up duplicating vocal tracks a few times and adding effects like echo and something that made the voice sound like a robot at one point, and I was already taking several hours for the tiniest of things in this and had to get it done by the next day).
Also it has a random Dinner For Schmucks sample in the beginning (the "You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not" exchange). I wanted to also put in dialogue from another part of the movie at one point, but the scene's background music was too intrusive and the line was too long.
Yeah, well, enjoy:
Not too bad, but it seems a bit thrown together.
Here's a remix of Daft Punk's High Life.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Ah, I see.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."In the video description I call it "an inside joke that I took way too far in a horrible way", which is kinda evident in how slapdash it is
Listening to your "High Life" remix right now (a song that I know for once remixed by someone in this thread, ain't that something new?). I like it, though it maybe could've used a bit more buildup. About 4 minutes in now and I like what you've done with this part.
I also like how in the end you used the original sampled track.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Thank you. I thought it would be a nice way to end the song.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Oddly, the main riff of "Suddenly Sorry" makes me think of "About A Girl". Maybe someday I'll get bored and add to the silliness by doing some sorta mashup.
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.Heh, I thought it kinda sounded like something else. I just picked two chords to play over and over and hit record.
That would be awesome if you did that though, and I can provide you with different parts of the track to use if you really want to do that
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I mess around on the guitar at home and rap at open mic nights. Not sure if either of those count.
The entire song could be drum'n bassy in my opinion... Wobble goes well with high tempo.
No regret shall pass over the threshold!Yeah, I agree.
More 16-bit shenanigans.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Oh, kinda sounds like something out of Chaotix.. That's always something good in my book
No regret shall pass over the threshold!Hello, there! I'm new here, so I'd like to introduce myself. My name is George, and I'm a singer, composer, conductor, instrumentalist, arranger, and orchestrator. As you see from my user name, I'm an Oktavist. The lowest of the low of Basso Profundos.
Please allow me to tell you about my background. I've been involved in music for seventeen years, a little over half of my life. I started out with just singing as it seemed the most logical and simplest step of the time, then added other things as I progressed in my musicianship.
I've known conducting for twelve years, bass guitar for eight, arrangement, orchestration, and composition for four. I started a Death Metal band here in Salt Lake a couple years ago called Leaden Ogre of which the composing, bass guitar, and vocals are my responsibilities. However it was almost immediately shelved (temporarily) once I started working on my first magnum opus. Which I might add is still in progress.
In addition to all this, I'm also a freelance music teacher in all the aforementioned areas herein. Usually teaching people how to sing. Especially the low male voice which I specialize in. I can tell from rereading what I've posted here that my language seems a bit on the stiff side, however in reality I'm very much the opposite of that! Sure seems like stating my personal musician facts can indeed be a bit dry sounding to say the least, right? Right. Yeah? Yeah! Eh, eh! Nudge, nudge. Say no more, say no more.
If you're wondering who my music teacher was, it's me. I've been self-taught in all areas of my musical knowledge. This has not been without great advantages, though. Taking the time to get to know my areas of limitation and excellence simultaneously, while also being able to perfect each and every detail.
However, music with it being the living creature that it is, I'm always learning new things which to say the least is very exciting! I believe that's about it. If you have any further questions, or would like to hear some of my work, feel free to let me know, and I'll link you to my You Tube channel. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to talking with all of you!
That's all well and good, but the proof is in the pudding as they say. Link us to something you've done please.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I've got some demos I recorded in Melody Assistant. It's all virtual instruments with a virtual singer, and I've wondered if the quality is decent enough to share.
Maybe you should.
No regret shall pass over the threshold!Hey, if I can share my crappy recordings here, you can too.
On a semi-related note, here's me playing the song "Tuesday's Gone" (by Lynyrd Skynyrd) with my friend's band Idol Threat (a New Jersey-based hard rock trio with a Heävy Mëtal Ümlaut over the "o"). I'm the one all the way on the right playing the acoustic. On a side note, I also played "Come Together" with them during the sound check, but that turned out horribly. This, however, I think turned out great (despite the shaky beginning), and I had a lot of fun with it.

No, but that'd be funny.
Here's an oldie I recently remastered.
