I've always wanted to know how it felt to race to songs like 'Freewheel Burning', 'I Can't Drive 55', "Laying Rubber", and others.

I don't really know, but I think I heard of "I Can't Drive 55" from Speeders.

Can't you just turn off the music in-game and play the music you want in the background?

That is, if it's a PC game.

Though I know the 360 (and probably the PS3) also lets you play music while you're playing a game. So you should be able to do it there too.

As DYRE said, you can force a custom soundtrack on the PS 3 by going on the XMB and playing whatever music you have on your hardrive while ingame. Don't know about the 360.

Motorstorm:Pacific Rift and Wipeout HD also have traditional custom soundtrack support.
