The multiplayer was actually fun. Not the main focus of the game, but not just some crap they stuck on. Unfortunately, because the game is more of a single player thing, and the presence of better and more popular multiplayer game options, the population wasn't going to last long.
Looks like they learned from thier budget issues this time..

GOH! JII! RAH!I still want to play the first one. :( Suppose it should be cheap by now.
$20-30 US depending on your system and if it's used or not.
Yeaaah, considering how many mechanics they introduce that go nowhere (Including the multiplayer!) they could have really tightened the budget and cost the game little in the long run. Hell, maybe even made a smoother experience.
Bleye knows Sabers.I want more and better stealth mechanics in the next game. The shooting mechanics were fine so they don't need much work but the stealth was basic and more of it might make the body count less ridiculous.
They also should have upped the survival elements a bit more, at least to the level of MGS 3 Snake Eater.
Trailer to be shown at VGX along with Thief.
It's either that or a new Deus Ex game.

"Definitive?" We already have that. It's called the PC version.
I got this preowned from Gamestop and find myself needing to take it back.
The entire first hour just feels like "Let's see how many ways we can make Lara scream!" I've never felt so uncomfortable playing a game.
I think the effect is meant to be to show her as a potential badass.
The idea being that no matter how badly she gets hurt she picks herself up and carries on. Which is actually what I thought of while I was playing it.

"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston ChurchillThat may have been the intent, but to me, it just played like torture porn.
I notice that there is significantly less screaming and impaling if you do not die.
It was the strangulation scene that made me turn it off. Difficulty with the quicktime plus the rapey tone of the scene meant I had to watch a man repeatedly grope and strangle the life out of a girl my own age. That was just too much for me.
I'm probably gonna regret asking but:
Is that because of the level of violence, or because the violence is against a female character?

"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston ChurchillBoth.
I'm really not a fan of close-up, visceral violence in games. It's why I don't plan to play something like Far Cry 3, why I usually try to play non-lethal in games that give you that option (like Deus Ex). And having all this intense, screaming violence happen to someone of my own age and gender makes it much harder for me to handle.
Fair enough.
"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston ChurchillJokes on you, I just got it for free thanks to PS+.
PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/They
Or when you make a Multiplayer mode that is likely to have a short shelf lifeā¦ (I think Mass Effect 3 was the only game of late that avoided that)
A corpse should be left well enough alone...
