so last thing i'm gonna say on this because this argument is going nowhere
Mario would be, by your logic, exactly like the Ice Climbers if he had a hammer.
NO. ONE. CARES. What some mod did.

Trans rights are human rights.Mewtwo isn't even close to a heavyweight, and Ganondorf isn't fast or floaty.
The funniest part is that he posted evidence in favor of changing Ganondorf's moveset since that looks entirely unique and unlike any other character in the game
I seriously think you're just making a mountain out of a molehill, dude. Really. Just drop the subject and move on, because it's obvious nobody else really gives a rip (at least not at the level you do) about this aspect of Mario. I'm sorry.

"Okay, yeah, I guess Ollie fits the goofy sidekick role, but being a princess doesn't mean I spontaneously sing about everything, 'kay?"I just wanted to introduce a new perspective on why Ganondorf shouldn't be revamped.
But yes, let's move on.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Actually, I do like Ness' bat and Yo-Yo being included in his moveset (in addition to his PSI abilities).
It reminds you that Earthbound isn't quite the typical 90s JRPG + Eagleland and all.
So yes, I do care about Ness' bat.

Man, Project M Ganondorf(s) look so interesting and unique, they surely mix things up over in the Project M space.
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniHere's an idea...

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.GOD NO!!!!
And then there was silenceWhas the problem, mang?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. What if Mario Mario had a skin based on Bob Hoskins?
Only if Bowser gets one based on Dennis Hopper.
Don't ask how that would work.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And Luigi Mario would have to get his movie alt as well.
BOB-OMB!
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! But yeah, Ganondorf should get Calamity Ganon as his new Final Smash (as well as, y'know, being completely revamped so he actually fights like Ganondorf and not a fat Captain Falcon) and Ganon, in classic blue pig form, should be a new character.
As for Mario, in addition to getting a ground pound dair (no Goomba Stomp, since that's a mechanic and not actually a move, but making his Footstool Jump deal damage sounds like a good idea), he should be able to throw two fireballs at at a time, like in most of his games. That "plick-plick!" sound effect is a classic.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I did come up with some ideas on how Samus' moveset could be changed up a few months back, to better represent how the Metroid franchise plays.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Have I ever posted my moveset for Torterra as playable in Smash? It might be a lot, but I have all of its moves and damage from those moves already written up.
I've been reading through the last few pages of the discussion and thought I'd offer my ideas on how I'd revamp certain veterans.
Mario: Not many changes are needed here. I'd like to add the Star Spin, but he already has the Tornado as his dair, and making it his nair would remove the Super Mario 64 jump kick.
Luigi: Make his grab and throws use the Poltergust 3000 in some fashion.
Yoshi: I toyed with the idea of giving his Up-B an aiming reticle a la Yoshi's Island, but that would put him in freefall and screw up his capability to use it in the air, so I'll pass on that one.
Bowser: Change his dash attack to the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story slide punch and change his voice clips to ones from the actual Mario games.
Wario: Make his grab the grab/carry from the Wario Land games. It doesn't have to be a cargo like DK's, but at least make it visually identical. Also, change his dash attack to the shoulder bash and his down aerial to his buttstomp.
Toon Link: I'd make his kit in general more Wind Waker-inspired. Give him Young Link's fire arrows for his neutral special, the Deku Leaf for his up special, the Megaton Hammer on his side smash, change the Hookshot for the Grappling Hook, and make the Hurricane Spin his down special.
Ganondorf: Oh boy, can of worms time here. I'd make him a composite of the sword, brawler, and magic playstyles. Keep most of his current normals the same, perhaps adding a few sword moves on his aerials and tilts. Flame Choke can stay as his side-B, but change the rest. Down-B becomes an earthshake punch that stuns foes on the ground nearby (Paralyzer stun, not Deku Nut stun). Neutral B is Dead Man's Volley, a projectile that can be reflected by all but the weakest of attacks, but grows more powerful every time it's hit until a certain point. While one is active, his neutral B becomes a slap to hit it back. Up-B is magical levitation - Ganon rises straight up into the air, and his course can be altered slightly in either direction.
Dark Pit: Declone him a bit by giving him some of the other weapon types that Pit doesn't use (claws, cannons, palms, clubs), and by replacing his bow with the Dark Pit Staff. Neutral B becomes a sniper shot from the staff, that when uncharged, does damage similar to Fox's laser, but is more like ROB's fully charged beam when fully charged. Since he can fly on his own, he can have Pit's Brawl Up-B as well.
Samus: Now that Mega Man and Mii Gunner exist, there is no reason for Samus to be a kung-fu robot. Replace a lot of her punching/kicking normals to ones that use the beam in some capacity. I'd also change her down-B into the Morph Ball as it works in her 2D games, and give her a crawl. The Screw Attack would move to her nair, and Up-B would become the Shinespark jump.
King Dedede: No changes, he's already perfect.
Sonic: Move his Spin Dash to Down B and get rid of the Spin Charge altogether. His new Side B would be the Boost from the Sonic Advance series.
This is a sinkhole.Donkey Kong also needs new specials that better reflect canon. Here are my ideas:
- B: Barrel Throw. He's Donkey Kong—he should be throwing barrels. He can only throw one barrel at a time, which rolls along the ground until it hits something. Slow, but deals heavy damage.
- Side-B: Sound Wave Attack. Donkey Kong claps, producing a sound wave that can stun opponents, like Mewtwo's Confusion.
- Up-B: Barrel Cannon. A barrel cannon (one of the single-use, skull-and-crossbones ones from Returns) appears around Donkey Kong. Use the control stick to aim, then release to fire. If you take more than a few seconds, the barrel explodes, damaging DK and putting him in free-fall.
- Down-B: Hand Slap. That one's fine—just adjust the "rhythm" so it matches canon. It's ba-thump ba-thump ba-thump, not THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP. This is important.
His Final Smash is fine. Oh, and the Giant Punch is now his forward smash.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I agree that Sonic shouldn't have two spin dashes.
Though I was thinking the Light Speed Attack from the Adventure series as his side-b.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!As a Wario main I'd be fine with the dash attack becoming the shoulder bash, but the down aerial needs to stay as it is. It's too vital to his air combo game to be replaced with a descending d-air.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Diddy's side-B should be the Chimpy Charge.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
So wait, it's okay for B/C-list franchise characters to have "unfaithful" movesets but not for A/AAA-listers? Double Standard much?
Also, I'd like to note that when one man decided to mod Ganondorf into being more faithful, a magic-based Ganondorf had a chargeable energy ball, a projectile reflector, and a teleport. JUST. LIKE. MEWTWO.
