I always break in in a fresh copy of Smash by playing Classic as Mario. Just like how I start my first playthroughs of any Zelda game as 'Link'.

I can't even remember who I first played as or what mode I did first in either Melee or Brawl.

I only have one avatar relating to Smash Bros. in some way, so I guess I have to start with Pikachu, Charizard, Greninja, or Lucario.

I started Brawl off with a full SSE run... twice. (After the first time, the Wii we had kinda broke and we couldn't transfer the save data to the replacement for some reason.)

I don't remember how I started Melee at all. Though I did only get it once the Wii itself came out, so... not sure what that means.

So I'm holding off transferring my Wii data to my Wii U until they release the Gamecube controller adapter because I really like using that for Brawl.

It's awful. I got like 3 to 5 systems hooked up to my TV because not all of them can play the same games. When are they going to invent that universal console already.

Near the end of Nintendo's life it needs to put out a NES-SNES-N64-Gamecube-Wii-Wii U-Tenth Generation SUPER console.

It's Wii U information we had no idea about in any way! ...I think. Nice! And not a Menu pic. tongue

I'm honestly a little disappointed that the two FE stages on the Wii U version are both generic, but at least they're decent-looking generics.

I sure said that!

Bleh, Castle Siege was one of my least favorite stages. Those platforms always felt too low and made the stage seem so cramped.

Show me some Warioware.

Wait a minute, there are people in the background of the second picture! I don't recall them being there in Brawl...

And, aside from the two people on the left who seem to be male and female Robin, they're all red so they're all enemy units. You can even see the boss up on the throne.

Nah, the generic enemy soldiers were there in Brawl, too. They're easier to see because HD. Robin and Robin aren't there, though- I'm pretty sure those are chunks of rubble from the statue, since Ike is smacking it.

They're in Brawl? Well then.

Oh yeah. That is just rubble. Ruddy small pictures....

Coliseum at least has a basis in Fire Emblem, that being the arenas in the series.

Castle Siege... it's basically the theme park Fire Emblem stage. I say that because that's how I remember Baffle describing Brinstar.tongue

I don't mind it returning, though, because it's caused some funny moments for me and my brother back in Brawl.

Just played Brawl with my brothers.

1) I'm terrible with almost everyone and eh with Lucario

2) I can't do tilts without doing a smash attack for the life of me. Is there some kind of secret ultra-unique technique to it? How many first borns do I have to sacrifice?

[up]Only tilt the control stick slightly in the direction you're attacking. Doing it all the way makes it more likely to trigger a Smash Attack.

Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...

Pressing A a split second before tilting is more likely to trigger a Smash. Doing the opposite gives you a tilt.
