@Pulse-After playing Kid Icarus Uprising, I think that Sakurai can manage an online mode much better than Brawl's
Probably they'll have moves based off of the various games that they are playable in. Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Play, maybe even something from Wii Music.
I'd bet their All-Star move would be some kind of Wii Parade.
As for being editable, I see them maybe allowing the user to choose Miis to be used as alt-costumes - at least in terms of faces, not height or girth. Amusingly, the default could either have no face or be a caricature of someone in development/from Nintendo.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Sakurai Mii!
Not to beat up, like some people ask for characters to do, but to kick ass with!
It'd be hilarious if there was a system where you could unlock Mii skins - maybe if you beat boss-mode on Intense you get the Sakurai skin.
Even better, you get a mii of a certain developer if you play their characters enough times - then you could have Miyamoto vs Sakurai. All items. Final Destination.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I think They will find a way to make Miis as personalizable as possibile, pecause personalization is the point of Miis. Maybe they will have automatic movesets based on their size, color and gender. Kinda like in Mario Kart Wii, but more advanced.
They could introduce customization features, like the parts system in Mario Kart 7.
You know, customization would be my ultimate dream for a Smash game. There could still be a "standard" moveset for competitive folks, but it'd be fun to be able to set different B moves, and it would let them represent more of a character's history.
Wasn't it mentioned that the 3DS Smash will have customization and the like? Or am I just misremembering things again?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.3DS will have something to entertain single players. That much is certain. Whether or not it will be customization remains to be seen... though it would be nice. B)
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I believe a customization feature was mentioned, but I don't think they divulged anything more than that.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The Madwere is this info?
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I believe it was an Iwata interview with Sakurai after E3, but alas, I can't seem to find it on Iwata Asks.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI think it's in japanese and got translated by a blog.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Here we go. In particular:
Iwata summed up the basic idea nicely: players would spend time on the 3DS version, building up their character and collecting stuff, then show off their skills on the Wii U version.

Welcome to th:|Customizing a character would be nice. I hope something comes out of it.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Of course, I don't mind the idea, but I feel there should be some sort of way to split up offline/online battles based off of whether or not you're using a customized character to keep things fair.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThat's a good idea.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!So, on a different subject- You know what I'd like to see in a new Adventure Mode? Gameplay swaps; a stage where you maneuver fighters through swaths of enemies, Fire Emblem style, with the fights being more standard Smashing, or a segment where Snake infiltrates an enemy base via helicopter, making use of his Final Smash, or something equally insane.
I sure said that!Heh, diversions like that would be pretty cool. I can see Smash Emblem being spun off into a separate mode. Other stuff like a Tetris or Meteos-based stage, or a race like Mario Kart, or a board game like Mario Party, or the Wario Ware stage amped up would be fun. For some character-based diversions, stuff like using the Star Fox characters' Landmasters to blast through a stage, or Pokémon Trainer battling one-on-one with the other Pokémon characters, or a stage like the Zelda one from Melee would be amusing.

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Or maybe they'd take another cue from Kirby and head into an Unexpected Shoot Em Up Level.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Smash Emblem?
I'm throwing my money at the screen, why isn't anything happening!?
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.

"Cake elements"?'quoteblock' This need an explain: In Animal Crossing there is a series whose furnitures are all shaped like cakes, chocolate. biscuits, ice cream etc. While in Sim City Creator there is a monument, shaped like a giant cake, that makes all the buildings around it look like the same as above. I fu king love them! They look so colorfully tasteful (or tastefully colorful) they make me have the weirdest bonertongue I'd love to have an editor with elements looking like that. And it would fit purrrfectly in a game like Super Smash Bros. [[/ quoteblock]]
