I just had a wave of great ideas for the Chemical series


Chemical

  • Nitrogeddon
    • Level 2 WIND Dinosaur Tuner 1400 ATK / 700 DEF
    • If this monster is the first to attack during the battle phase, it can attack twice. This monster cannot attack directly.

  • Phosphoreddon
    • Level 3 EARTH Dinosaur Tuner 1500 ATK / 1500 DEF
    • When a "Phosphoreddon" monster is summoned, including when this monster is summoned, summon one "White Phosphorus Token" (Level 1 FIRE Dinosaur 400 ATK 400 DEF), and decrease your life points by 400.

  • Sulfureddon
    • Level 4 EARTH Dinosaur 1600 ATK / 2000 DEF
    • When this monster is normal summoned and during each of your standby phases, select one set card on the field, or one one card in either player's hand. Reveal that card to both players. Its effects are not activated at that time.

  • Bonding - TNT
    • Quick-Play Spell: If your graveyard contains three "Nitrogeddon" and one or more "Carboneddon", your opponent takes 3000 damage. Only one Bonding - TNT can be activated per turn.

  • Bonding - P4
    • Trap: Tribute four total "Phosphoreddon" or "White Phosphorus Token", special summon one "Fire Dragon" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.

  • Fire Dragon
    • Level 7 FIRE Wyrm 3000 ATK / 0 DEF
    • This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of "Bonding - P4". While this card is face-up on the field, the DEF of all monsters becomes 0. During the end phase of either player's turn, both players take 4000 Life Points damage.

  • Homunculusaurus
    • Level 12 LIGHT Dinosaur 5000 ATK / 5000 DEF
    • FUSION: Carboneddon + Hydrogeddon + Oxygeddon + Nitrogeddon + Phosphoreddon + Sulfureddon
    • Once per turn, you can special summon one Dinosaur monster from your hand or deck, from either player's graveyard, or that has been banished. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, you can banish one Dinosaur monster from the field or either player's graveyard for the remainder of the duel; increase your life points by that monster's total ATK and DEF.

  • Essential Elements
    • Spell: Add one Dinosaur monster with "-eddon" in its name from your deck to your hand. You can banish this card from the graveyard to fusion summon one "Homunculusaurus" by sending the monsters listed on "Homunculusaurus" from your hand or either side of the field to the graveyard.

  • Breath of Life
    • Trap: Send one "Oxygeddon" from your deck to your graveyard, then special summon one Dinosaur monster from your graveyard, except "Oxygeddon".

Once per turn, you can flip this card into face-down Defense Position. When this card is Flip Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Rock-type monster from your Deck in face-down defense position, except ~, then flip it face-up. The summoned monster cannot be flipped face-down or used as Xyz Material until your next Main Phase 1.

Basically a retrain of Moai Interceptor Cannons. Inspired by my listening to this.

What do you guys think of Homunculusaurus and "Fire Dragon"?
I still need to come up with an effect for Sulfureddon.

For the first time in a while I'm going to describe what a card physically looks like, mainly because the appearance is how I came up with the card idea in the first place:

  • Dire Dove
    • Level 5 DARK Winged Beast 2100 ATK / 1600 DEF
    • Each time your life points increase, increase the ATK of this card by the same amount.
      A 6ft large dove, with mottled legs and ruffled feathers all over, with "teeth" and posed like the last picture of the Greylag Goose here, and with red lit eyes.

Additionally, reviving an idea I temporarily discarded before, buffing it, and throwing in another with it:

  • Maplecopter
    • Level 3 WIND Plant Tuner 1500 ATK / 1500 DEF
    • This monster on the field is treated as both a Plant and a Machine type monster. Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 100 for all other Plant or Machine type monsters on the field.
      A rotating maple seed with a gun turret at the seed pod, divebombing. Behind it are several others.

  • Archeo Trix
    • Level 3 WIND Dinosaur Tuner 1500 ATK / 1500 DEF
    • This monster on the field is treated as both a Dinosaur and a Winged Beast type monster. Increase the ATK and DEF of this card by 100 for all other Dinosaur or Winged Beast type monsters on the field.
      An archeoptryx standing on the ground with arms spread, being seen from behind and above. In front of it is the silhouette of a majestic bird.

(This card is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, this card is unaffected by monster effects, also banish it when it leaves the field.

  • 2400/2400
  • You can also Xyz Summon this card using a "Burgesstoma" Xyz monster you control as an Xyz Material (Xyz Material attached to that card also become Xyz Material attached to this card). If this card is Special Summoned this way, you cannot activate Trap Cards or the effects of Trap Cards, except "Burgesstoma" cards for the rest of this turn. Unaffected by monster effects. During either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Tribute 1 "Burgesstoma" monster you control, then destroy face-up cards your opponent controls, up to the number of your banished "Burgesstoma" Trap Cards. You can only use this effect of "Burgesstoma Canadaspis" once per turn.

During your opponent's main phase or battle phase; you can Dark Synchro using this card and 1 other monster you control.
  • 0 / 0
  • What looks like a pair of gears grinding against one another, a lot of black cables hanging off of them, and a pair of dark energy claws emerging from them, along with a pair of malevolent eyes at the center.

  • Agonygear Demise-Star Magician

  • Dark / Spellcaster / Dark Synchro
  • 1 Dark Tuner + 1 non-tuner monster you control
  • This card cannot be destroyed by battle or by spell or trap card effects. When damage is dealt to you by battle or by your opponent's card effect, deal the same amount of damage to your opponent, then this card gains that much atk. When this card attacks, negate the effects of your opponent's cards in their hand and graveyard. Once per turn, you may negate the effect of a spell or trap card your opponent controls; then you take 400 damage.

  • A spindly, very creepy looking magician wearing a tattered version of Doomstar Magician's outfit. He has a pair of pale gears embedded on his shoulders, which look like shoulder guards. Despite the fact they're rotating on him, this skull-masked magician's only obvious feature is his single glowing red eye and a sick grin on his face.

  • Chaos Theory
  • Continuous Trap
  • Whenever a monster your opponent controls is destroyed, special summon to your opponent's side of the field 1 monster in their graveyard with level half or less than that destroyed monster's level in attack mode. Its effects are negated and it cannot be tributed, used as Synchro, Fusion or XYZ material. You can send this card to the graveyard if your opponent would activate a monster effect; negate that effect and destroy the monster.

  • Kierkegaard's Levelling
  • Continuous Spell
  • All monsters your opponent controls on the field's original names become Nameless, their levels become 1 and they cannot be tributed or used as material for a fusion, synchro or XYZ summon. If you do not control a Dark Spellcaster monster, destroy this card.

  • Whenever your opponent activates a spell, trap or monster effect, put one Negation counter on this card. When there are 6 Negation counters on this card, twice per turn, when your opponent would target a card on the field by battle or by a card effect you control what your opponent would target.

  • If a Dark Synchro monster you control would be destroyed by battle or by card effect; instead destroy all other cards on the field and in each player's hand, then deal damage to both players equal to that Dark Synchro monster's atk.

For an Arc-V Roleplay Forum off-site. "The Darkness" possessing Yuya / "Burning-Eyes" plays these cards when he takes over in our version of the Yuya vs. Crow duel.

There is a theme here - its not just Nick being grim / gritty with no reason.

  • LIGHT, Warrior/Fusion/Effect, 2 "Masked HERO" monsters
  • This card is always treated as a "Destiny HERO" and "Vision HERO" monster. Must be Fusion Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. While face-up on the field, this is also DARK-attribute. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can banish 1 "HERO" monster from your hand or Graveyard; This card gains that monster's effects until you activate this effect again, but you cannot activate those effects.
  • 2600/3000
  • It's like a reverse Contrast HERO Chaos, basically.

Given how overpowered Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon is, here's my stab at the Rank 12. This is a parody which can be compounded in the fact I see this monster as a giant, glowing red white and blue mecha falcon armed with the Freedom Gundam's arsenal.

  • This card can only be summoned by the effect of a Rank Up spell. This card cannot be destroyed or banished or leave the field at all ever for any damn reason. Once per turn during either player's turn you can detach 2 XYZ materials from this card to activate one of the following effects;
    • Destroy all special summoned monsters your opponent controls and deal 1776 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed
    • Destroy all cards in your opponent's extra deck.
    • This card can attack a number of times equal to the number of Raidraptor monsters in your graveyard.
  • 4000/4000

I feel like the first two can be upped to 200 per counter. Also, the Field Spell takes waaaay too long to actually become useful. I would suggest either lowering the number of counters needed or adding a fourth ability in that becomes live at, say, 5 counter. I like the idea though.

Wait, never mind, I re-read the field spell. I'd probably change it to 10, 15, and 20 instead of 10, 20, and 30, but otherwise it looks fine.

[up][up]I like them! Despite stuff relating to wealth tending to be DARK/Fiend, I might suggest making Counter Accountant (great name) some other archetype/type.

Maybe give the field an effect that boosts Counter Accountant at the expense of 5 counters on the field? A Counter Accountant Commission, if you will.
Also, that last effect... "The rich get richer!"

I gave Sulfureddon (see above) a mandatory effect of detection, similar to how sulfur smell is used to detect gas.

I love the Synchron Cards Yusei played, but the one that bothered me the most was Nitro Synchron. It effects say that "if it forms a Nitro Synchro monster, draw one card" or something along those lines. The problem? Unlike the Junk Cards, there's only Nitro Warrior. So, here goes some idea cards!

  • Nitro Racer
  • LV 5/FIRE
  • Warrior/Synchro/Effect
  • "Nitro Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters
  • Once per turn, if you activate a Spell Card, you can draw one card. When this card attacks and destroys a monster, you can add one spell card from your graveyard to your hand.

  • "Nitro Synchron" + 1 or more non-Tuner Monsters

EDIT: Decided to cardify some cards from Duelyst, specifically the Dervish cards. I did change Sand Howler a bit, since I felt that just giving it "cannot be targeted by card effects" made it a bit lacking. And, of course, Windstorm and Firestorm aren't even close to Pendulums in the original game.

Honestly, I'd prefer if the card can use both effects in one turn, and I'm not sure it'd be overpowered.

Dragon's Sacrifice

Discard 1 level 7 or 8 dragon-type monster: choose one random card from your opponent's hand and put it on the top or bottom of their deck, then draw 1 card. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the graveyard, you can banish this card from your graveyard: Special summon 1 level 7 or 8 dragon-type monster from your graveyard. You can only use each effect of "Dragon's Sacrifice" per turn.

Some of the support for the felgrand stuff in the new structure deck (mostly the warriors and the promo card) are underwhelming. They need more ways to send their monsters to the graveyard, and easier revivals because continuous traps are prone to getting destroyed especially on the turn they're set, though admittedly they can help with arkbrave dragon if they get destroyed later.

Also, pardon the lack of creative card names.
