A few times Chuck will say that an episode doesn't hold up on repeated back-to-back viewings. How many times does he watch an episode back-to-back to review it?

IIRC I think in one of his Q&A he says he got it down to 2?

The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry

Is there any chance Chuck will get around to doing "The Tholian Web" in the near future? In both "In a Mirror Darkly" and Discovery's mirror universe saga the Defiant is a big plot point, and from what I understand "The Tholian Web" explains how it got to the mirror universe in the first place.

Dragon Age II is back, at last. You know, I was just wondering what Chuck would do if he reviewed a Fallout game (I'm playing through 4 at the moment and constantly comparing it to New Vegas, which is my favorite in the series), and then it occurred to me that him reviewing the originals would be very interesting. With his review of Alpha Centauri, he's shown that he can still put together a captivating review of a less visually stunning game (and I'd say that Fallout has a bit more to show, even though it's old isometric gameplay with the occasional talking portrait). Quite a lot of people have played the new ones, but the age and gameplay of the original two are keeping them away.

On the site Chuck says he's now accepting episodes of The Orville. I've watched the first season and in a lot of ways it feels more like Trek than Discovery. That show tried to be dark and serious, but the background of The Orville is one with a peaceful, enlightened planetary Union. One thing that I do notice is, in say, The Next Generation, Picard is a man who the viewer can look up to and hold as an ideal. In The Orville, Captain Ed Mercer is an average Joe who's doing his best. He's someone the viewer can RELATE to.

[up] While I get what you're saying, I will never, EVER, be able to relate to Seth Mc Farlane.

Muse review is up.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Torres completely violate the Prime Directive in this episode? With the extreme lengths the characters go to uphold it in other episodes you'd think that Chuck would have brought it up at some point.

My Little Pony: Springier Equinox Show

Chuck examines Twilight's growth in season 4 of Friendship is Magic with "Princess Twilight Sparkle", "Three's a Crowd", and "Twilight's Kingdom".

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...

SFDebris is also leaving Channel Awesome.

No personal story, he mentions he joined because of Linkara (who is a big fan and friend of his), and when Linkara said he was leaving, Chuck figured he might as well as he had no particular reason to stay.

Did he ever put his thoughts on Star Trek Beyond?

He did a micro review for patreon member IIRC, but no full review. Though I am not 100% sure.

I find it rather strange that despite it being almost five years now he still hasn’t reviewed Into Darkness

Into Darkness is going to be a tough one to write, I mean should he go into how much of the plot was ripped off from one of the first Star Trek Books ‘Dreadnaught’ or not or go into the matter of the whole race lifting of Khan going from not correct to not correct again and on which side.

[up][up] It's possible no one has requested it.

Being a movie it's way more expensive to request than a TV Show Episode.

(And I'm not spending my monthly requests on it)

I was one of the many unlucky to suddenly be thrust into season3 without seeing the movie

This episode did all kinds of weird stuff to me as a kid, it was darker than what I was used to seeing
