I seriously can't believe no one's made a topic about this yet. Ah well, now there is. So far I really like this comic especially because of how much the art is similar to Akira Toriyama's. I also like that they manage to give even some of the minor characters some relative screen time and use characters that aren't even part of Dragon Ball (Arale, Crono, etc).

I don't really notice or care about U16 getting more screentime than the other universes.

..Holy Shit is that awesome! I am currently in the middle of rewatching the entire run of Dragonball Z, and this is a perfect addition.

Huh. Well, won't you look at that. Might actually start reading this.

Bit too much fangasm in the first chapter, but art looks pretty neat, and the dialogue doesn't make me want to kill myself. Story feels like a bit of an Excuse Plot, however.

Aaaand Archive Binge complete. Nope, not bad at all. Pretty cool fight scenes, some interesting alternative takes on the existing characters, and a magnificent Oh, Crap! moment when Super Buu tried to absorb Broly.

Still suffering a bit from Excuse Plot, but pretty neat nonetheless.

I'd agree with the above interpretation. Just finished my own binge of it. Pretty good.

I found the Mary Sue parody hilarious. Oh, yeah, and Vegeta calculating the brackets, and telling Pan to lose. Also, a cameo from Crono! Who might actually fight! I hope so, anyway.

Still, this is a damn good comic. Excellent art, well-done fights, and it certainly feels a lot like a continuation of the manga. Well, if it was done by French guys.

Pretty good comic. The Human Team is the one I'm rooting for to win - Old Mater Krillin by far is the most awesome character in the whole comic, and it's nice to put a dent in the MAX POWER SUPERFAST ULTIMATE ENERGY BLAST RAAAAR! stuff, even if that's why we like DBZ. I hope he comes to the realization that not everyone there is evil.

I pretty much cruised through the Vegeto-Broly fight for much of the same reason, though the fight against Buu was great. I'm waiting for Buu and Cell to show their secrets, and it seems inevitable that Vegeto's going to majorly fall from his high position somehow. Running through the rest Cell, as always, is awesome, especially pulling off his own head to stop Dabura's spit. Bojack is a bastard, nuff said. Future Trunks and 16 give us a sort of grounding, as usual. The whole thing is pretty good.

So far, my favorite part of this comic was Vegeta defeating his other self, and showing us what is that makes him him - the way the other two Vegetas show what might have been is great. The Nail segment was pretty great too.

I've been reading this comic for a while, and enjoy it a lot. Two things do bug me about it though. The English translation can be very awkward sometimes, and all the mini-comics which keep popping up in between chapters. If they're really having trouble keeping up, they should just slow down the updates a little. The mini-comics seem to be getting worse too.

But yeah, good series. Like it a lot. I just like to bitch about it.

One problem unique to the premise is that I have trouble telling which protagonist from which universe is fighting. :-(

I wouldn't mind the mini-comics so much if they didn't rehash things we already knew.

The mini-comic is not that much of a bother. It has happened, what, 2 or 3 times since the start? This is not a high rate. What bother me is that it have popped now, just after an entire chapter drawn by someone else. One would think it wouuld build more then enough time to Gogeta Jr.

Because it's nothing but boring foreshadowing for as long as Bardock is in this? XD

I like this comic, though I stopped reading at about the time that Broly started fighting Gojeta.

[up][up]Well, they stopped fighting for a long time now and the story is back on its track. You can read it now again. Feel free to skip the stupid specials too.

Yeah, the specials seem like forced bits of terrible, but the actual comic is great. I kind of wish that they'd just go Schedule Slipping instead.

So I'm a writer...

You mean Vegito.

Keep in mind that I haven't really cared about Dragon Ball in general since I was twelve.

There are a few details that I really can't remember that well, and I really only started taking interest in Dragon Ball in general with the release of this comic and especially Dragon Ball Abridged.

Oh, new page too.

I never watched the Bardock special, or any other movie for that matter, so I honestly didn't realized that we saw a Flash Forward here until this last page.

Vegito is going down. Arrogance and overconfidence are almost always signs that you are about to get a beat down in the DBZ universe, especially when you are Vegeta. Or part Vegeta.

Also, am I the only one still hoping for a universe were Raditz' and Son Goku's role were swapped?

I'm not clear about what happened there, myself. So Bardock just dodged and launched an energy ball?

Also, I have to admit, I'm curious about what brings about the Vegito neck lifting Gohan scene. And Bra is part right. In terms of power, neither Vegeta or Goku could stop him, but as he is them combined, there could be other tactics they could use besides brute force......

Either that, or that Vegito vs Gogeta fight we've all dreamed of will finally come true even if it was said it wouldn't happen.

Whenever I read this comic, I find myself hearing everyone's voices as their Dragon Ball Abridged voices.

For characters that haven't gotten voices yet in DBZ Abridged, I hear them as the voices used for the original Funimation dub.

So, I Archive Binged the series. It's not bad.

One thing that I noticed is that I never know whether the "main fighters" are from U16 or U18. Also, someone should make a list of the universes just so we can understand it better.

Another thing I don't understand. U9 features a grown-up Videl and a middle-aged Tien, but Krillin seems to be as old as Master Roshi. How does that work out?
