I'm not trying to get immediate attention, I just don't want this to fall so far that nobody notices it.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."I like the song names. Aside from that, I have no clue how to help.
Happiness is zero-gee with a sinus cold.Well, thanks for the compliment, at least.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."I think the best way to do it would be use an adjective and then a noun - like you did with 'Electric Violin', and then add the story after, because if you try and think of the story before, then it's going to be hard to narrow it down.
For example, off the top of my head:
"Desolate Diner" - a song based upon a photo of an abandoned cafe in the middle of a war zone.
That's a fairly poor example, but I hope you get what I mean. To be honest I can only think of hilarious ones that wouldn't be appropriate to your story...
I had an idea once for a band that makes songs in a genre that make fun of said genre. Like, a rap song making fun of stereotypical rap, country that makes fun of stereotypical country, etc...
I don't know if this actually helps, but it seemed like it might so feel free to use it.
Look, you can't make me speak in a logical, coherent, intelligent bananna.lol you should look up jon lajoie on youtube - he's the king of writing stereotypical rap songs. Again, not appropriate to this story, though.
^^^I get what you mean. With Electric Violin, I really want it to be a song made of crazy awesome.
I'll try and take the advice. Thanks for the help.

Well, it would be better to say trying to write songs. I'm coming up with complete blanks, but I figure I should write the lyrics out to make them sound more like a good band. Well, read like a good band. It's kinda the drawback of not being able to hear something written, you can't really know if they're a good band or not. But I'm trying my hardest.
So far, the name of the band is Catch-22, and they're a sort of alternetive rock band that originated in Britain, Japan, America, Russia, and France(In other words, each of the band members come from one of those countries). They feature a lot of unconventional instruments alongside the more standard facets of rock music. By unconventional, I mean classical instruments like violins, organs, and harps, or things that aren't even instruments, like typewriters or cash registers. The lead guitarist can also open the front of his guitar and fire it like a gun, but that's beside the point, and more to do with their role in the story they're going to be in.
I've named a few of their songs: A Symphony at Midnight, Fire in the Sky, and Electric Violin. I've kinda got this idea that all of their songs tell a detailed story, but I can't freaking think of any lyrics, or any stories to base the songs off of. The only one I have an idea for is Fire in the Sky, which is about a dogfight between two rival pilots.
Any help?
