During the first few revisions of her design people were complaining about her becoming less stylized. I checked for myself and when I saw those eyes, nope.avi.
A lovely shade of blue, I must say.
Which reminds me, games have come an astonishingly long way in the animation of eyes. It seems almost yesterday that the most sophisticated eyes you could see in a video game were beady little dots of colour.

This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.I noticed a distinct lack of a little finger there.
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster.I had them cut off so I could shake hands with the masses without feeling dirty. Never fear, I've kept them preserved in a glass jar so they can be reattached post-election. That way I'll be capable of waving at the swelling crowds of my entourage, shaking firmly gripped handshakes with foreign ministers, and signing documents illegalising same-sex marriage, and other such important duties of state.

Spooky.An entertaining werewolf what types.
Very nice trailer. I too wonder about that missing finger.
Stumbled upon this.

"Levine said that members of the team went to frathouses to ask if gamers have played Bio Shock
“We went and did a tour… around to a bunch of, like, frathouses and places like that. People who were gamers. Not people who read IGN. And [we] said, so, have you guys heard of Bio Shock? not a single one of them had heard of it.”
Bleh... Why not just call it Call of Bioshock while you're at it?

Think someone beat you to the punch a page back Thorn, but yeah, I wonder what they were thinking. It's like me going to a group of South American tribals and asking them if they knew who Justin Timberlake is. Pandering to the LCD isn't a good business plan.
EIGHT GLORIOUS SIDESStill it's surprising that none of them of even heard of it, frantboys are not exactly a lost Amazon tribe and bioshock is hardly obscure.
hashtagsarestupidI would think that it would depend on how old the fratboys are. From what I know, frats aren't a den of videogame knowledge, rather they play the most hip and new games. Hip and new in this case being the latest shooters. Younger fratboys might not have had the interest, funds, or ability to play the first Bioshock, which, lets face it, is kinda old now.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryThey play Madden and Call of Duty.
Thats it.
Appealing to them is fucking retarded.
Not necessarily. Appealing to their outlook is a bad idea, yes, but trying to get them to buy the game can affect their outlook on life. They also have a great deal of funds to play around with, and have a not-insignificant pull on college social settings.
Whether there will be a positive or negative effect of making more frat boys buy the game will have to remain to be seen, but trying to appeal to people is not necessarily a bad thing.
Frat boys at my college also played borderlands and watched Dragon Ball Z.

Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryBut there comes to a point where you appeal to the crowd that doesn't care about your product so much you lose the appeal of those who do. aka "We want the call of duty audience" (which is like an instant NOPE for a lot of people)
Yes, which is why it's not necessarily bad to try to appeal to another audience. I agree, going overboard to try to appeal to an audience which wouldn't be interested in your game is stupid. But it's also stupid to not try to appeal to ans many people as possible, as it hobbles your ability to profit from a game. I wish it was possible for game developers to develop the game they want to, but unfortunately, having to develop for marketability is also necessary.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryThere has to be a better way than making a horribly bland box art.
Unless there is a giant sticker that says "Free copy of Madden with every purchase!" I dont see how fratboys are going to care.

I agree. Horribly bland box art isn't going to attract anyone. People who know about the game will buy it anyway, people who don't won't give it a second glance.
Frat boys are not a unified demographic, Thorn. It's entirely possible to enjoy sports and be in a frat and not like playing Madden.

Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI thought people were just over exaggerating with the box art problem....until I actually saw it and was bored out of my mind.
The world isn't prepared for T 44 Eight chemicalsWho knows, maybe we'll hear reports of frathouses across America taking a moment to sit down after some wild rounds of Bioshock Infinite, nodding like bobbleheads and discussing it.
"Duuuuude, this shit is deep."
"I know, bra, I know."

Yeah, in terms of design, those eyes are just slightly smaller than Osamu Tezuka's.
