Also her lines a lot of the time read better than their subbed equivalents. Remember in the original her fight with 'Tunnial' in the sub she goes like 'I'm in a lot of pain but that's alright because I'm having fun', whereas Trina said something like ' I'd be in a lot of pain now if this wasn't so damn fun!'

These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.
Just out of curiosity, has it been confirmed that Rei isn't human?
I mean, yes, she was in the original series, and it's obvious that she isn't normal...but aside from the weird hair, there's nothing about her that immediately screams, "Actually a clone." Sure, she's emotionally a bit screwed up, but it's not like that doesn't happen in real life, unfortunate as it may be.
It's obvious that she's related to Gendo and Yui (Unless Gendo found some homeless girl off the street and gave her the name he was going to give his daughter), but so is Shinji. We never actually got to see what gender the baby was, so it's wrong to assume that just because Shinji was Gendo's human son and Rei was an inhuman clone of Yui in the original series, it's going to play out that way again. Keep in mind the end of 2.22, by the way.
So has there been anything to suggest this?
Fire, air, water, earth...legend has it that when these four elements are gathered, they will form the fifth element...boron.
I think that preview is just a paid advertising thing. That's what I'm getting from comments here, I can't read any of the text in the video.
That, or it's all canon and Evanstallion Unit 1 is the horse that Beardless Gendo will ride into the apocalypse
The trailer for 3.0 that aired after 2.22's TV spot mentions Shinji waking up to a new world. After seeing that short clip up there, it looks as if they've been taken to the real world.
I doubt it, but that guy doesn't seem... "Evangelion-y". I dunno.
Also, ERMAHGERD EVAHORSE
