Anyone else here think that Hellsing is a strange combination Seinen, Dracula and Monty Python?

^ Hellsing is a Seinen. Though personally I think it reads a little like Shonen.

The only similarity it has with Dracula is the presence of The Man himself.

I don't really see the Monty Python. The Abridged series, on the other hand...

Yeah, it's mystic Judaism. Basically it's sorta like this... first you've got the Tanakh, which is pretty much the old testament. But that has some contradictions if you look deep enough, so an oral tradition arose to interpret the Tanakh. Then they wrote that down, and interpreted that, and basically Giant Naked Rei doesn't seem so far out any more.

But it really does seriously mystify me that I'm not fat, because I eat way too much and then don't exercise.
