Seriously Doc's been through what... 3 apocalypses now? (counting the tennis temple - hey I didn't say they were all GOOD apocalypses)

Perils are not the same as fears.

I think we already know at least some of Doc's fears. I'd have to go through the archives to remind myself of them, but there's not a lot of fresh ground to tread there.

I know but it's like... once you've fought intelligent dinosaurs, what can you be afraid of? Spiders? Ha!

Only thing I could think of is that stupid wooly octopus that existed between dimensions/time.

Yes. You can totally be afraid of spiders even after fighting for your life in a warzone. Fears don't always have much basis in reality.

I don't recall Doc ever indicating fear of the woolly octopus. He thought it would be bad for it to get into the ecosystem, but never seemed overly perturbed by it.

In my own personal experience, a couple of near-deaths did rid me of many fears I previously had. It's amazing how much perspective can cure.

Though I'm somewhat betting he's going to have some kind of emotional thing like rejection by family or Hortense making out with Franz...
