- Hilarious in Hindsight: Zinnia once started a video on trans issues by saying "I'm not transgender"... and then proceeded to come out publicly as trans in another video 6 days later.
- Never Live It Down: Many only know her as the activist who said men have to have sex with trans women. Even though she meant it as to not discriminate against trans people simply because they didn't get bottom surgery, she could've phrased it better.
- The Scrappy: The guest posts by Zinnia's partner Heather are very controversial even in ZJ's fandom and gather a lot of dislikes. She even gets accused for abusing ZJ's popularity to promote her Straw Feminist views.
