  • Awesome Art:
    • Even just basing on Miraculous Ladybug and Zak Storm, the CGI art style for both shows are downright gorgeous, to say nothing of being crisp and clean. Both shows have healthy doses of action, too, what with the former being a Magical Girl Superhero show and the latter a swashbuckling heroic pirate's epic adventures, and this allows the awesomeness of the art to be showcased during these shows' fight scenes.
    • The Concept Art alone can build a lot of excitement for the upcoming shows and films. The brand section on ZAG's website features at least one piece of conceptual artwork for each television series and film that are gorgeous and exciting.
  • Broken Base: Zag's lofty ambitions have caused some to worry that some of the studio's future projects may fall flat or be delayed due to him possibly spreading out resources instead of channeling them into one at a time. So far, the first Christmas special for Miraculous Ladybug ended up not delivering what Word of God said would be in itnote , and it was later said that previously announced future holiday specials for Miraculous Ladybug have either been delayed or outright cancelled. The planned Miraculous Ladybug live-action movie was also cancelled and replaced with the theatrical animated movie only a year or two after its announcement.
  • First Installment Wins: Miraculous Ladybug, the first of Zagtoon's animated shows, was Zagtoon's breakout hit and is enjoyed in the West for being a different take on the superhero genre. None of their other projects have come close to re-capturing that success; several of them have ended up Screwed by the Network internationally, hampering their chances of getting a wide audience, and they tend to be considered So Okay, It's Average at best or rip-offs of other cartoons (Miraculous included) at worst.
