  • Accidental Innuendo: In one DONG episode on Vsauce3, Jake ends up saying, "Play with your DONG's", realizes what he just said, and corpses.
  • Adorkable: All three hosts have their moments.
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: "BLOW YOUR MIND!" is a very unique episode since it doesn't tackle anything scientific and is merely an assortment of factoids. However, the truly strange part is at the end, where Michael says that he is "made of Vsauce", takes a Nerf gun, and shoots himself in the mouth, causing green sauce to splatter on the wall behind him. He then comes back and then creepily asks viewers to leave secrets about themselves in the comments. What.
  • Harsher in Hindsight:
    • The "Could You Live Forever" video on the Vsauce3 channel ends with Jake contracting a malady and dying from it. Not so funny when six months later, Jake was diagnosed with a potentially fatal form of cancer, though thankfully, he's recovered from it.
    • In the 2011 video "How Old Can We Get?", Michael mentions that there are currently thirty-seven living people who were born in the 1800s. Of course, that figure was always going to date quickly, but it's sobering that all thirty-seven died within six years of that video's posting.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The "Is THIS The Deadliest Pokemon?" video takes place in London, and postulates that Mr. Mime makes its invisible walls by freezing the air (or anything it's touching) at absolute zero. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, a regional variant of Mr. Mime was introduced in Galar, the equivalent of England. Galarian Mr. Mimes are part Ice-type, so freezing is within its wheel house, but Galarian Mr. Mime cannot learn the move "Sheer Cold", a move whose Japanese name translates to "Absolute Zero".
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • "Hey, Vsauce! Michael here."
    • Grabbing random YouTube screencaps from his videos (YouTube page included) and editing the video title to give it hilariously dark subject matters is a popular one. It got so memetic enough, that Michael himself has joined the party.
    • "Where are your fingers?"Explanation
    • "I'm gonna do what's called a pro-gamer move." explanation
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: Vsauce3 has undoubtedly the best production value of all the channels, with large amounts of professional-level special effects in his videos to help illustrate his points better, and they look gorgeous as a result.
