Fan Fic
- Jerkass Woobie: While he makes it clear that he's made peace with what he is, the story makes it clear that Alex really doesn't know what to do with himself and as a result of this and his experiences, is rather lonely. Also, he still remembers his many, many victims' last moments and not all of them deserved what happened to them.
- The Woobie: Louise is showing competence with her magic and has an incredibly powerful and bizarrely loyal familiar but she's plagued with low self-esteem, thinks she might be losing her humanity, is showing signs of losing her sanity and her fiance is EVIL. Siesta was just a poor school worker when she happened across Louise and Alex. While she's ultimately better for it, there's no question life has been unkind to her.

- Moe: All of the girls are drawn very cutely, and their personalities are even more adorable.
