YMMV / Tricky People

  • Alternate Character Interpretation: The man seemingly seeking help to find his lost puppy during the "Tricky People" number might actually be looking for his puppy.
    • Yellow Dino himself may be a Tricky Person on account of his preference to company with children.
  • Anvilicious
  • Award-Bait Song: "Safely Held in Your Heart". Apparently, being molested turns you into an angsty Grammy-worthy singer-songwriter.
  • Ear Worm: "Tricky people, really tricky people have pain down in their heart..."
  • Memetic Mutation: Referring to sexual predators as tricky people.
  • Narm: A Stranger Danger PSA with upbeat musical numbers, a Totally Radical mascot, and a Bumbling Sidekick for the villain is funny. All of that contrasted against a serious, realistic portrayal of a sexual predator is hilarious.
    • An aversion is attempted in the scene following the "Safely Held in Your Heart" number, in which much of Yello Dyno is conspicuously cut out of view from the camera as he comforts Carmen. However, the effort is ultimately cancelled out by the sight of Dyno's big, yellow arm wrapping around Carmen in consolation.
  • Paranoia Fuel:
Yello Dyno: "Tricky, tricky, tricky, tricky people! Everywhere you look, it could be another tricky person!"
  • Squick: Reginald Charming's behavior makes a good number of scenes centering on him rather uncomfortable, especially since their tone clashes so heavily with the rest of the PSA.
  • The Woobie: The man looking for his lost puppy, if the above Alternate Character Interpretation is true.
