- Complete Monster - The third and fourth villains in season one. The third villain kills her twin sister and pins three previous murders on her. The fourth villain cons a boy in a wheelchair out of large sums of money along with others and when caught, laughs in the same boy's face that his legs will never heal.
- One True Pairing - Naoko and Ueda, with Naoko's mother subtly pushing for it. It helps that the only other recurring male character is Yabe. The problem is, they're hardly ever placed in romantic situations and don't openly display any feelings toward each other. For that matter, both are sometimes openly antagonistic toward each other, so it's more a case of limited casting.
