  • Awesome Art: The game's 3D backgrounds, which are rendered in real-time rather than being pre-rendered into video, still hold up well to this day, and it's hard to believe this game was first released in 2012, years before mobile rhythm games really rose to prominence.
  • Awesome Music: Conflict by Cranky is available in this game. The Dev knew this, in fact the very first screen shot on the App Store is this song.
  • Funny Moments: One of the locations in Darksphere's Sphere Map is called "Sofa". Playing the cutscene triggers a gratuitous fanfare, and then Weirs lays down on an extravagant sofa, accompanied by Optobot...and that's pretty much it.
  • Good Bad Bugs: Slide notes. You're supposed to slide into them from outside of the note. However, the game will count the note as hit as long as any movement is detected inside of the note. This is useful on slide notes paired with tap notes that fall on the same beat, where you can simply slide two fingers across both notes.
  • That One Attack: The Spherical chart for Linear Accelerator requires the player to hit 21 notes at once, three times at different points in the song (On the second and third time, some of those notes are even off screen).
