* EvilIsSexy: '''Escape'''. Her default costume is a skintight bodysuit which exposes her shoulders and decolletage. Even her battlesuit, which is basically the same suit but covering her skin below the neck, does more to tantalize and tease if anything. Bonus points go for her black wedding dress in #37 and her black SexySantaDress in #43.

** Go-Buster Oh didn't actually need ''Series/KamenRiderFourze's'' Super Switches to execute a Rider Kick.
** In #17, Jin sends out a loud "Oh, shit". It was funny but then we remember [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=311EWISjV1g this.]]
** #21. Ryuji [[Film/TheIncredibleHulk2008 gets a handle on his "berserk" side]] [[Film/TheAvengers2012 by making it a part of himself.]]

** In #33, the Powered Custom SuperMode involves an addon to the morpher that fuses our heroes bodily with their Buddyroid partners... kinda like [[Series/KamenRiderDouble CycloneJokerXtreme]]. As if reinforcing this, Red sticks to close-quarter combat (like [=CycloneJoker=]), Blue summons a girder that he uses like a staff ([=HeatMetal=]), and Yellow sticks with the shooting ([=LunaTrigger=])!
** Ryuji was not the first blue ranger to have problems with overheating. [[Series/TensouSentaiGoseiger Gosei Blue]] had in one episode too and, while Ryuji gets psychotic, Hyde gets HILARIOUS.

** Mission 41 has a thief, who breaks into safes, wears disguises, leaves cards behind bragging about robbing, has jazzy music, can do martial arts, and tries to lure a monster out because she feels it's her job to not let it hurt civilians. Plus, she justifies thieving because she only steals from bad people. Sounds like a prototype for [[Series/KaitouSentaiLupinrangerVsKeisatsuSentaiPatranger Lupinrangers]].
** Mission 42 has a flying train that comes out of the sky whenever it feeels like it, and picks up people with a particular personality trait. Sounds a lot like a prototype of [[Series/ResshaSentaiToQger ToQger]].

* NightmareFuel:
** Mission 3, which is not unlike a ZombieApocalypse.
** Overheated Ryūji ''is'' badass, but his way of fighting is extremely sadistic and horrifying even for ''Sentai'' standards. No wonder Yōko was scared out of her pants.
*** For that matter, both Yōko's and Hiromu's weakpoints border on AndIMustScream. Sure, they're both funny at first, but what happens if Yoko suddenly runs out of energy during a battle. What if Hiromu suddenly starts freezing at a crucial moment? The series goes in great depth as to how these weakpoints are just as dangerous as Ryuji's, as the Vaglass go out of their way to exploit them many times over.
** [[spoiler:TheReveal that Messiah absorbed the scientists and the Go-Busters loved ones during the incident from 13 years ago. This leads to the rangers unfortunately having to ''kill'' their loved ones with Messiah to take him down.]]
** [[spoiler:Enter after his defeat in Mission 30. Somehow him becoming more stoic and calm with only occasional traces of his troll-like persona remaining makes him even ''more'' disturbing than he already was.]]
** [[spoiler:Escape's Megazord's debut. She takes Enter and CRUSHES him using the Megazord's hands. It's pretty graphic for a show like this and there's the crushing sound to make everything better.]]
** [[spoiler:Messiah Reboot. The design is disturbing enough, but the fact the dang thing ''towers'' over the Go-Buster's machines to the point it could hold one of the base Buster Machines in its hand like a ''toy''.]]
** [[spoiler:Escape's [[SanitySlippage gradual decay in sanity]] after her revival. At first it's cute, but it gradually gets more and more disturbing as she loses control of her prior personality and becomes a mere shadow of who she was.]]
** Enter revealing that [[spoiler:Hiromu is his '''''SoulJar''''', meaning that no matter what happens to him; so long as Hiromu is alive, he'll come back too.]]
** [[spoiler:Hiromu fully willing and able to commit ''MurderSuicide'' if it means Enter gets taken down for good. It doesn't work thankfully.]]

** One of the movies for this series concerns an AlternateReality version of the team called Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters. It would only be a few years later that [[Series/DoubutsuSentaiZyuohger an actual Doubutsu Sentai]] started making the rounds.

* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: In Japan, Go-Busters isn't that well-liked and is seen as a weird BigLippedAlligatorMoment for the franchise, even to the point of being sidelined in their own crossover movie with ''Series/ZyudenSentaiKyoryuger'' by both the [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger Zyurangers]] and the [[Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger Abarangers]]. However, western fans like it for a lot of the same reasons their Japanese counterpart disliked it, seeing it as a fresh and experimental take on the Sentai series.

* RetroactiveRecognition: ''Go-Busters'' has been remarked outside of ''Sentai'' fandom in later years as being the career debut of Arisa Komiya (Yoko) after she hit it big as an IdolSinger in the ''Franchise/LoveLive'' franchise (she's [[Anime/LoveLiveSunshine Dia Kurosawa]] there).
