• Arc Fatigue: The subplot where Chin Hon-to (initially) struggles to repair his relationship with Ting Wai-wai when she falls in love with Chong Chuk-yuen. It's been resolved when season 2 aired with Wai-wai and Chuk-yuen as a couple until she died after she was recruited into the Hong Kong Police Force.
• Narm: It's hard to take Chung Wai-yan seriously when she shows up in the second season after the camera pans to show her old wounds. The scabs on her arms appear to look like they were sticked onto them by the special effects crew.
• Special Effect Failure: Some of the special effects used in the series are obviously CG. Some of them include explosions during gunfights and worse, an airplane.
  • Wai-yan's so-called "wounds" on her arms when she appears in the second season.
• Squick: During a SDU operation, a hostage was turned into an unwilling suicide bomber in "King of Thieves". Thankfully, the explosives didn't go off since the hostage was left behind after the bad guys make their escape.
