YMMV: The Veronicas
  • Alternative Character Interpretation: "I Could Get Used to This" could easily be interpreted as Stalking Is Love. The very first line of the chorus is "you wrote my name all across your hand" and then the singer states that she "lost the reflex to resist," meaning that this was not a relationship that she initially wanted.
  • Crowning Music of Awesome:
    • Secret Life: Mother Mother, 4ever, Everything I'm Not, Nobody Wins, Mouth Shut, Speechless, Did Ya Think, How Long, A Teardrop Hitting The Ground, Secret.
    • Hook Me Up: Untouched, Hook Me Up, This is How It Feels, Everything, Hollywood, I Can't Stay Away, I Don't Wanna Wait, Revenge Is Sweeter, All I Have.
    • Others: Cold, Dead Cool, Baby I'm Ready, Heart Like A Boat, Let Me Out, Everything I Need, Could've Been, Lolita.
  • Heartwarming Moment: "This Love", "Speechless", "Heart Like A Boat" "I'm So Happy" and "I Could Get Used to This"
  • Ear Worm: "Hook Me Up", "Untouched", "Everything I'm Not", "Everything", "Cold", "Dead Cool", "Take Me On the Floor". They are pop stars in every sense of the word.
  • Epic Riff: Hook Me Up, 4ever, Everything I'm Not, Everything, Everything I Need, All I Have, Dead Cool
  • Fan Nickname: Ronnies, Jessie, and Lissie.
  • Fan Community Nickname: Calls their fans "Lovers" which indicates that they are VERY close to them.
  • Les Yay:
    • The "Hook Me Up" video contains numerous shots of the two of them clutching each other tightly.
    • I'll hang onto what she said, it sounds perfect in my head in "Everything".
    • I wanna kiss a girl in "Take Me On the Floor"
    • Jessica was also very close to Ruby Rose a famous VJ in Australia for a couple of months in 2008.
    • Psycho Bitch You Turn Me On
  • Narm Charm: "Cold" has elements of this:
So you could watch my tears fall to the ground as I tear myself apart/Wondering why
Why every problem I had/I tore myself to hell for you
    Fuck you, I hate you
I love you, I need you
I wanna run, I wanna run
  • Retroactive Recognition: They appeared as the Alpha Bitch twins in the Australian television series Cybergirl. The dvd cover is a case of Billing Displacement due to their music success.
  • Signature Song: "4ever", "Hook Me Up" and "Untouched".
  • Some Anvils Need to Be Dropped: Everything I'm Not and it's not changing yourself to please a pptential boyfriend or potential friend message...and the album it comes from.
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: "I Could Get Used To This" describes the ultimate boyfriend.
  • Tear Jerker: "In Another Life", half of their first album, Could've Been, World's Apart, Everything I Need...
  • Wangst: May have been accused of this once or twice. Break Up Song and Sanity Slippage Song EVERYWHERE.
    • Lampshaded when they wrote "Heart like a Boat" and they were over joyed to write a semi positive love song.
    • Explained by the fact that they are twins, and that's twice as much inspiration as any one solo artist or lead songwriter pain could go through with.
