- Awesome Moments: The part where Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White and Monty Python and the Holy Grail's Black Knight and... all gang up on Chuck Norris, combining their power to defeat the internet's greatest Memetic Badass.
- Awesome Music: The entire song packs in a great and memorable chorus and lyrics as a very catchy tune. Oh, and it packs some of your favourite cultural icons in its lyrics as well!
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- "Every single Power Ranger". The Japanese basis for the series, Super Sentai, did basically that for the Action Prologue of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger's pilot episode; and the footage has been brought over for Power Rangers proper in the finale of Power Rangers Megaforce.
- Batman, Abraham Lincoln, Chuck Norris, Gandalf, Robocop, the Terminator, Captain Kirk, Darth Vader, Hulk Hogan, and Mr. Rogers — and, if cameos are counted, Mario, Goku, and Santa Claus — would all be part of another internet-based musical ultimate showdown. This includes three pairs of opponents: Lincoln/Norris, Goku/Superman, and Robocop/Terminator.
- Over a decade later, many of the songs participants really would officially come to fight each other in Fortnite. Godzilla, Indiana Jones, Robocop, Darth Vader, and the Terminator have all been depicted or playable in the game at some point.
- The song begins with Batman fighting Godzilla. It would later be revealed that Toho and DC had plans to make that very premise into a movie all the way back in the 60s, but plans fell through. Many years later however, it was confirmed that there would be a Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong crossover comic.
- Memetic Mutation:
- The bridge where a bunch of characters are listed offThen has been used in all sorts of ways (usually to increase the cast/roster of something for laughs). From increasing the number of the Three Heroes and adding in more characters alongside the mercenaries.
- From the Rule 34 parody, "The Ultimate Orgy", the words "orgy" and "strap-ons" have become some of the most commonly-used sound bytes in edited cartoon episodes, right up there with clips from Tenacious D and The Lonely Island.
- Signature Scene: Chuck Norris descending from the heavens to defeat Batman and Indiana Jones, and the following bridge where a truckload of random characters pop up to overpower Norris in turn, is by far the most recognized part of the song. The follow-up to it with naming various characters such as Superman and Hulk Hogan is also very well known for its Memetic Mutation as mentioned above.
- Unintentional Period Piece:
- The song itself is very much a product of the mid-2000s internet and Generation X's pop culture nostalgia, particularly with the reverence given to Memetic Badass Chuck Norris ("Chuck Norris Facts" having spread across the internet around 2005), and the winner of the Ultimate Showdown being Mister Rogers.
- The inclusion of Aaron Carter, right off the bat. His musical career had a much shorter cultural longevity than anything/anyone else featured in the song, and the fact he's even mentioned at all alongside icons like Batman, Godzilla, and Optimus Prime firmly dates the song to the mid-2000s, at the peak of his ultimately short-lived popularity.
- The official music video on Newgrounds is animated with Flash in a choppy Stylistic Suck style emblematic of the time, and features a number of dated visual references, including Samuel L. Jackson being attacked by snakes, Tobias Fünke covered in blue paint, and Eric Bauman being punched in the face by Lowtax.
- The 2021 remake updates the visual references to hangovers from the late-2010s, with plenty of late-2000s Generation Z nostalgia mixed in. Now you've got Pickle Rick being stomped on by Mt. Lady, characters being vaporized by Mob, Rodan and King Ghidorah rampaging alongside Godzilla, and Doctor Octopus in the bridge replaced by his gender-swapped counterpart from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, among many others.
