YMMV / The Simpsons S9 E8 "Lisa the Skeptic"

• Franchise Original Sin: One of the episodes where Lisa's Soapbox Sadie tendencies really started to get out of control. The writers at least still had enough self awareness to show that Lisa still had some hypocritical tendencies that do get brought up at the end, while later episodes would always portray her as being unquestionably right, regardless of how obnoxious she ends up coming across as in the process.
• Values Resonance: Despite the questionable execution, the episode's themes have held up extremely well with some fans, since the "science vs. religion" debates have only gotten more pronounced in recent years.
