- Harsher in Hindsight: Bart's prank making Steve Mobs appear as an opportunistic jerk that belittles his clients comes off as hurtful now that Steve Jobs is dead (and later episodes have Steve Mobs killed off to reflect this).
- We're Still Relevant, Dammit and Shallow Parody: The "Mapple" and Steve Mobs references. Even if they're still a thing and haven't fallen out of fashion, the Simpson writers could put some effort into making the references worthy of a parody rather than waving the references around in viewers' faces, saying, "Look, we changed Apple to Mapple. Isn't it funny?"
