Crazy Awesome: Despite not quite mastering his character's suaveness, Daffy actually manages to goof his way through the heroic role. In his autobiography Chuck Amuck, Jones mentioned he was at a loose end with the closing to the short since he realised Daffy was actually winning. Counts as Characterization Marches On, considering his blatant Failure Hero role in all later shorts.
